I went to the auto show today and finally got to sit in a Grand Wagoneer. It was a Series II and awesome. I forgot just how huge it is. I’m even more excited now!

Just tried logging into Mopar’s site and was surprised to see my actual car there. No window sticker yet but my VIN is obviously starting to register throughout their systems. Doesn’t have the tow hooks in the picture but I guess I’ll let it slide…

It’s a shame I can’t track it or turn it on remotely yet. Maybe the threat of carbon monoxide poisoning would make the final inspection go faster!

That's great! I got the chance to sit in a GWIII at my dealer, someone who orders GC Limited every year ordered it. He decided to go with his 'usual' after it came in and was too big for him.

Interior is even better than I anticipated. The Salesperson fired up the engine even though it was in the showroom floor. Said 'the doors are open, what the heck I have to hear it.' What a sound, especially in a large showroom. 🤤

Great to know your VIN worked. I will try mine again after I get the build sheet showing. Any idea how long from E to I? I suspect that is about 2 days since the framing & stamping plant is right beside the assembly plant, all one big city block plus.

As for remote firing it up... too funny! I'd only want that to happen in a movie as part of a funny plot, but what a funny scene that could be! 😆

I can only imagine the sound! There was a tuning company at the auto show today. I was talking to one of the guys and he thought adding a supercharger would be fun. Could you imagine a supercharger on that engine?! Too bad it would void the warranty. Probably not worth it with all the tech.

Entire build from start to finish was like a day which is normal from past vehicles I’ve ordered. Longest part is always the testing, QC, and waiting for shipping part after it is actually built (excluding the waiting to enter production part, of course).

I like your color choice. What color is your interior?
That's funny remote starting at final testing. lol. Too bad they don't offer CCTV that we can see the final phase. It would be a hoot to watch. If it was me I have the horns blaring intermittently and watching a 3 Stooges moment as I set them off, on and them getting in and out of car looking all around and under the hood..

Thanks! I'm really excited about it. I love the pearly, metallic white colors. I have the Tupelo interior. My dealer suspects one possible reason for the delay was the color with the HD Tow Package added (Luxury White Pearl was a later availability color). When ordering, the tow package kept changing from orderable to non-orderable on the dealer's end. They locked it for me when the system would allow and fortunately I got a VIN like a day later so after so it stuck. But then it sat and sat and sat. I couldn't find a single example of a Luxury White Pearl GW with the HD Towing Package equipped anywhere in the US until just a few weeks ago. Could be all coincidence, but I think it may've had something to do with it.

The CCTV option would be great! I'd really enjoy being able to push the button on my app and watch them pass out in real time. I'll have some snacks, it'd make for some great TV!

I like the Tupelo option in color like yours. Mine is Tupelo also. While I didn't order the tow or Firestick option, I think I made a good choice. Not sure of company logic in manufacturing vehicles in these craziest times.
After driving trucks and large SUVs most of my life, I felt its time to step down in vehicle size. Actually, this is my 1st luxury vehicle to own and looking forward to it.

What is the process with getting information on status? From "scheduled and has ID" what are the steps and how do you know where it is?

The process is a blend for us, generic updates come from Wagoneer Client Services. You can engage them with the VIN as an ID or VON. Your sales people are to also provide you information, but that seems to be when you call them.

As for steps, follow this link to the build codes and process, should help.

Cryptostickers had my build sheet last week. Today, my build sheet hit the Chrysler url. I, too, was able to access it on Mopar, but of course, it says it doesn’t have an owner yet (liars! Lol). will see what Michael says Thursday.

It's Tuesday which is update day for me. I waited all day and nothing from Evelyn. Hopefully she's okay but maybe her forum gal pal Kate told her all the smack I've been talking about her and now we're in a fight. Which is fine, we may as well be. It gives me something to do while I wait for my truck LOL.

I called Wagoneer Client Services just now and got a particularly dumb one - she forget the name of the company and scrambled mid greeting to remember. They aren't supposed to give out actual build status codes anymore but I figured since she didn't even know the company's name she wouldn't know that rule and I was right. I'm in JS status right now. Not sure if this means something is being fixed or if it's just waiting to ship; hopefully it's the latter.

We’re in the same company. I received my generic update today from Adrian and it spewed the same as last week. Stage before shipping. Now it’s been the same since 2-25 build sheet. Hopefully any day I guess.

At least you two got something today, Adrian must hate me worse than Evelyn hates you cooler. Didn't even turn me over to someone else. All this after the good stuff from Katy (different than Kate, also awesome, I found out). Bummer not to even hear anything on 'update' Day.

JS status, it went to storage but like you said, for what purpose? Waiting for another train to pull in?

Guess who has a build sheet as of this morning!!!! This guy right here!!! *points to self*

No window sticker yet but I'm thinking it means I finally am on the assembly line and/or maybe already built. My unreasonable side (arguably my bigger side) wants to drive to Warren and peek in a window and see if I can see it. That would require driving through Milwaukee, Chicago, and Detroit though; wouldn't want to get shot before I finally get my truck. 101 days and counting since ordering so maybe this is just a mirage...
I received an F status on Monday! I think ours might be buddies on the production line 😎

This one wasn’t an order, dealer had it as inbound inventory and I put money down on it. I already had an open case w/concierge regarding my original order placed in August and I simply gave the rep my new VIN over the phone and she told me the arrival dates. I’ve been in weekly communication w/concierge since placing my order.
Are you in contact with the dealership on arrival date?

I'm trying to figure this one out. Been perusing the Ram and Wrangler forums and it does look like JS is either something is wrong and needs to be fixed (could even be a software update) or it's just sitting there and waiting for shipping. Nobody knows for sure. I did get an Evelyn email today. Maybe she played hooky yesterday:

"Good morning,

Your vehicle is currently going through extensive quality inspections, to ensure the top quality vehicle that we take pride in. This is the final stage before shipping. I will continue to monitor your vehicle for any change.

Regards,

Evelyn
"

Who knows. Really hoping they don't have to send it via rail somewhere; not like I'm far from the factory. Heck, I'd go pick it up there and save them the shipping hassle if they'd let me!

Okay, so Evelyn either sent me the same email or has a kindred spirit who decided not to include their name. Status "i", let's hope we fill up the train car and they ship by the end of this week!

I’ve had this screenshot saved to my phone since December. JS could be they’re missing something (maybe a chip) and they’re storing it until they have that item. Think of the Bronco lot in MI…rows upon rows of 95% built Broncos. We have ones of those on order in our family too.

I will say that my dad just waited 18months for his new Corvette…truly, the few months for the GW isn’t actually that bad! Dad just wanted to retire with a new Vette. It came and now he’s prepping it for the track. Asked me if he could tow the Vette with the GW. I’m thinking of negotiating some track time for use of the GW.

My dealer said 2 train rides and then a transfer truck to get to NC. Soooo, is that another 1-2 months?? 😂🤷‍♀️
