bahaha grammar nazis of the world unite!

When someone uses the wrong version of their/there/they’re, your/you’re, to/too, etc., a small part of the soul I pretend to have dies.
Seriously, it’s like nails on a chalkboard. Lose/loose also grates my last nerve. My eyes are bleeding. 😂

Annnnnd, I just got the update that it is in JS, meaning it’s sticking a quality hold for something they found in the final inspection. Hoping it’s something minor, but glad they found it before they shipped it. Hopefully this means some of the QC issues we saw at roll out are getting caught and the process is working,

Sounds like that last TSB for those built on the 25th might be what they are doing in QA? Should be interesting to see what they corrected/fixed. That is so close now, I'm turning green already...

Maybe? Michael also said it’s been in JS for 7 days now….so fingers crossed it’s not super serious, but that doesn’t seem to bode well. I was starting to get my hopes up that I’d have it by the 18th, but now figuring it will prob be after that. I’m sure it will arrive while we’re out of town for spring break. 🤣

I wonder if they would tell us what they found? Hm.

If you or Michael would like, I’d be more than happy to get Evelyn involved. Maybe when she’s done ruining her latest victim’s day with an update that would make my red pen shake with excitement, she and Michael can meet up and not know what’s going on together for us. 😂😂😂

That is the 24th build, so it could be the TSB since it says 25th or before. That looks like it is a fast fix, so I'm still thinking you'll get it soon.

Oh, and don't take @coolerbythelake up on his offer, heck he probably is reaching out right now to Adrian (my latest rep like his Evelyn) so all three of them gang up on us! 🤣

Just think about all the sequencing they’d be able to do together though!!! They’d still never be able to provide any ETAs but the monitoring power would be off the charts!

Have you contacted your dealer for an update? I too get regular updates from Wagoneer Services but I had to initiate that with them. I called them almost immediately after ordering (I don’t do patience LOL) and the gal I spoke to offered to email me routine updates. I too get a weekly email from the same rep every Friday.

My dealer told me officially the timeline is 8-12 weeks from order to delivery but they said based on other orders they wouldn’t be surprised if I was in the 6-8 week range. But I hear ya it’s a little frustrating when I can go on AutoTrader and find similar builds out there sitting on lots.
May I ask who you talk to or an email. All I have is the VIN from the dealer. When I try to search for it on some of the links nothing comes up.

You can call Wagoneer Client Services at 1-833-667-4825 (833-NoRival). Ask them to check on the status of your order and to put you on a weekly email status update or they can text you too. You will need some info to give them ex. VON # plus Vin #. Both of those #'s should have been given to you by your salesman at the dealership.

I was hoping maybe both of us would get our cars the same day. Maybe at the same time since we ordered from the same dealership on the same day. However, I perfectly understand how you feel and would have done the same also. Good Luck
yeah, this was a tough decision. I love the car and the concept of Jeep moving to this luxury market. I currently own 2 jeeps (22 Compass, 19 Wrangler Sahara) for my sons and have had other Jeeps in the past. My heart said yes but my logical thinking says a big NO with all the data I was seeing. If anything, I'm going to miss this forum with all these great people just wanting to fulfill their dreams of owning this car. Good Luck. SOunds like you are getting much closer

Update: Just hit D2 status today, 2/15/2022
Notified by WCS of the status change, proactively via email.
Build date was incorrect item in my last update, that was the target Ship date.
Considering it hit D2 today, fingers crossed it stays on track.
Another update:
3/04/2022 - Change to E Status, the frame is being built today! Finally it is becoming real... 🥳

3/4/2022 Email blast from Michael - received ETA's this time in regards to the Vehicle's Arrival, so far we are looking at 3/7-3/21 for the vehicle to actually hit the Dealer itself, I will check back next week if confirmed Delivered and go from there, thank you

I called the salesman, but he was off today. Tomorrow is another day for info that he sees, and I have some questions to ask him.

So exciting! Have you been checking for a build sheet? I was able to confirm that the build sheet comes at status I and then the window sticker at status KZ once invoiced to the dealer. Both can help give you a means of tracking the status on your own a bit at this point.

I do have the URL with my VIN tagged on it for a build sheet, joy yet of course. https://www.chrysler.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=insert-your-VIN right?

The Dealership is the one that saw the change today and texted me (the salesman actually). I will be checking that build URL daily, and watching the dealership web site for that fun 'Being Built' they like to show even when it is a paid order. 😅 Marketing...

I didn't see you post any ETA for your GW, any idea when is yours due to arrive? Dahammer let us know about his targeted for this month, need to see you saying a day sooner. 🤣 Kidding Dahammer!

Yup, that is correct. There’s also “sold order” line item on the last page of the build sheet which is a little satisfying to see.

No ETA for me as of yet. Dealer will have an ETA once it’s released from the factory. Perhaps I’ll email Evelyn in the meantime and see if she knows an ETA (I’ll pause for laughter here).

My Dad asked me earlier today if there’s any sort of “Greek rush” they can put on the order because in his mind there should be (LOL). Sadly I don’t think Stellantis offers this yet - clearly I would’ve taken full advantage 3 months ago if such were the case. He then went into a long diatribe about how, much to no one’s surprise, the Greeks invented cars. Specifically, Heron of Alexandria in like 60 A.D. I replied “oh and here I was thinking it was Karl Benz or someone in the late 1800s.” Nope. Response I got: “when you don’t have Hellenic blood in your veins it takes you centuries to catch up.” 😂

Really takes me back to the school days were my Dad and Uncles always felt the need to correct our teachers. We were so popular at Parent-Teacher conferences.

According to Michael vehicle was shipped. He's looking at from 3/7 thru 3/21 it should arrive. Waiting for the dealership to open so I can call. Dealership got bankers' hours.

I got my build sheet but doesn't show when the vehicle was manufactured. Going by my window sticker shows 2/18. The vehicle was released from the factory on that date. Sometime between 2/25 and 3/4 is my best guess when shipped from Michigan to New Jersey by rail. I understand it can take 10 days by rail. When arrived then it should be released within 7 days to a motor carrier for transport to the dealership. IMHO dealership should see it by 3/14. So far salesman and I are close to arrival.

I never thought Fred Flintstone was Greek. LMAO.

Awesome news, helps me estimate when I might be seeing mine as well. I'll have to use my toes twice though, so since they are also my brakes and accelerator peddles on my current steamroller wheeled, dinosaur carrying vehicle, watch out! :ROFLMAO:

Tip of the hat, that was a good one! 👏
