Ok…I have been MIA for 10 days. Turns out babies can come early, and this one almost came in our brand new GW 😳😳. We seriously were heading out the door and opted to wait for EMS instead. Turned out to be a wise decision otherwise I might have been selling my brand new, highly anticipated midnight sky blue baby as “slightly pre owned” then ordering a new one 😂😂 (shuttering at the thought of getting back in line for one)

Anyway, I think I’m caught up.
@Costa - you’re still waiting. Decided to start day drinking
@coolerbythelake youve put down your peaceful protesting equipment and are picking up your new GW
And then a handful of newer peeps got their truck “like wicked fast” and missed out on all of our jesting waiting for ours?

what else have I missed?
Excellent news to hear, and CONGRATULATIONS!

We should be getting updates now, the fix was loaded this morning for the Dealer Connect app. See below, so tomorrow we should all finally have a shot at knowing where our vehicles are in the system.

I got an update this morning from WCS. I was half expecting them to tell me I was KZ with no ETA still but surprisingly they were actually writing to tell me my car was at the dealer. They aren’t able to see any updates that happened while tracking was down so it’s possible your car is arriving sooner than they know yet. Have you called or chatted for an update today? Really curious if WCS or your dealer can see a car carrier yet.

I had a call from WCS that said they had an ETA of 9-16 May arrival. Dealership said they had a bunch of surprise deliveries and would let me know first thing in the morning (Sales person didn't see it in the first few and had shift end). I also had an email this evening saying it was at the dealership, had I picked it up yet.🤞

So a lot is starting to happen this week, I hope it's a shipping system finally got engaged again so vehicle destinations for next legs of the trip finally got sent out to the carriers.

I think I'll go to bed early just to get that notice in the morning all the faster, perception wise. 🤣🤣

Yes!!!!! WCS can see the shipper info so it’s there if they said it is.

If you want a good laugh and the dealer lets you, try to be there when they run the VIN and see what they need to update and do to prepare for your delivery. Stand back though because the computer might start smoking. 😂😂 There may be a TSB or 30 waiting for you.

Awesome, I wish I could be there this morning. Too many meetings so I can't get free until after lunch today. Man, work gets in the way of getting goodies. :cautious: Oh wait, it's why I can get the goodies! :ROFLMAO:

Sounds like even though the builds happened after all the TSBs had been released but a two, they still check them all. What about that last Windshield TSB, did you have a problem with the deflection issue or had it been replaced at the factory? That one usually means a dealer has to outsource getting it swapped out, and after Factory swapping means a lot of adjustments for the sensors, etc. that are part of the mirror area electronics stuck on the windshield (shown below between the mirror and overhead buttons). I hope ours got that TSB Kate posted on this forum. Well, time to grab breakfast, hook up the trailer to my current truck and load it up with $ to haul to the dealer. 😁🥳

I completely forgot about the windshield - I'll check. I've been referencing the inspection list post on here and texting the dealer. I must say they're doing an absolutely fantastic job. They have a huge list of things and known items they're checking for. I did ask about the TSB Kate posted and that was one of the things on their list. I was talking to some of the techs when I was there and they did say there’s been a huge improvement with issues with Wagoneers produced from November/December and on which I liked hearing. We all kind of suspected this. They also added that while UConnect has gotten much more stable with subsequent updates, the entertainment system is still being worked out. I didn’t check that box so just a heads up if you did.

Although we opted to buy the vehicle off the lot a month ago, I received my update stating my vehicle has shipped and has a delivery date of 5-5 to 5-19. Glad to see everyone is finally getting their vehicles. So far so good on ours. My wife took it on a small trip this week and I haven’t received a call stating anything is wrong. I really think we are getting to a point of positive and only small software updates here and there at least for the 2/22 and beyond builds. Happy Driving and have a great weekend folks.

Thanks for the scoop on the list. It was about 6-7 items down but just said Windshield warp. I put the TSB in there just now, should help the rest who use the list. Nice to know the dealership is going through everything like they should, taking extra care is expected in this market so they will probably be on the truly Certified list for next model year sales. Starting to see that pop up as a banner on the Wagoneer Build site now when looking for inventory. Some Dealerships have it, others don't.

As for my GW3, dealer doesn't have it and is showing an ETA band from 3 May to 16 May. Hoping @Dwagoneer 's source gets details on it today. My guess, still sitting in the lot by the rail yards, just outside of Baltimore. That one is used for most of the Mid-Atlantic. Pretty soon Google will update the Satellite photo of that holding lot and I'll see my truck there! :ROFLMAO:

I’m starting to get concerned about what we are all going to do once we have our new trucks and there are no more issues. Am I beginning to have forum separation anxiety?

Not to worry, we'll start getting adventure feedback, a special Tire report from @Dahammer after his new 'shoes' are on (should be another day or two at his rate of burn). :ROFLMAO: I'll take a trip to a camp in the woods with really tight turns between trees, let you know how much it costs to repaint doors. I can see lots of things! 😁 @coolerbythelake will have to let us know if it works as an Ice Fishing hut next winter.

It's still early May in Wisconsin. We're not quite at the point where we can say with 100% certainty that ice fishing is done for the season. 😂 I'm leaning towards it being done, though; it was a really warm winter. I actually got to rock some shorts and flip flops in early February when we hit 20 one day - I was almost sweating I was so warm.

But yes, I will be towing my sleds (a sled is a snowmobile for you non-Northerners) out onto the lake to ice fish with my Grand Wagoneer for sure. 6500 lbs on the frozen lake will be a rush for sure. Pretty sure that weighs more than my truck did! Really glad for all the water forting this thing can handle. I'll be less concerned with any cracking I hear...

More news today from WCS. It seems multiple cases were opened for me, and they got someone else's VIN tagged with my email address which is where I got a message this morning saying my vehicle was in, had I gotten a chance to pick it up yet. With a message like that, guess how I've been today between meetings, calling the Dealership. 😵

Finally got things cleaned up just now (yeah, right), so at least I have an ETA of 16 May. 16 May, only ~2 months after the build, what could go wrong in all the storage lots? Nothing of course... Safe and snug as a bug in a rug. Isn't that the saying? 😂

At least I have the fun of imagining @coolerbythelake driving out on lake Michigan (or Superior or both!) next winter dragging sleds and not hearing the cracks due to the HEMI thumpin'. I can picture it now, new rush order for a new GW3 or worse yet, a tug with a crane on it to pull up your ride!
🙃

Well I was hoping to take delivery today or tomorrow but it's looking more like Monday. Dealer wants more time with my GDubs. What's interesting is that the dealer says their normal process on these is keeping them for 3-4 days and physically verifying all the issues the earlier builds were plagued with. They said the only time they want to see it again is for routine maintenance or accessory installation (like I haven't already bought enough shit for the car I don't even have yet). I really can't complain. If I find myself particularly bored tomorrow I may go down there, just sit there in it, and make as many people uncomfortable as possible. I mean, if that makes them say "fine just take it" not like I'll say no.

Dealer just texted me these pictures. I LOVE the rims! The Wagoneer center caps didn’t fit and I forget to bring them the ones matching the rims. Gonna pop those in on Monday…can’t wait to see it in person!!
