Shweet! And as for sitting in it to make people uncomfortable, only if you bring your 'jammies and sleep in it. :ROFLMAO:
That’s a great idea! Now that I think about it I should just bring the family and really turn the uncomfortable up to a 12. “Hey everyone, say hi to my spouse, my folks, and some of my cousins. If anyone needs anything the 72 of us will be sitting in that Grand Wagoneer over there” *sound of loukoumades frying in the backgirund*
😂😂😂

Wow! I'm lovin that baby, man alive it looks great. The contrast with your Firecracker Red Rubicon Recon is fantastic! 😍🥳🥳😎

The firecracker red Rubi Recon got traded for the GW3. The one you see in the picture is the 392 Snazzberry. Got a great price for the trade in. I’ll have to take a picture with the CJ-7 in it too. Three Jeep V-8s in the family now. 😉

And you can put a six pack in the console cooler. 😉

Lovely so far! We drove about 30 min south of the dealer for lunch and it was awesome. About an hour 20 home from lunch and it was a dream. The family was ooohing and awwwing.

Just took it around the block to see the night vision. It was amazing!! I am in love!
I can’t wait to try the night vision! Jeep’s looks like one of the better setups out there. I live in out in the country and it’s pitch black around here at night so I’m pretty stoked. You get any alarms or pop ups with it?

The driver main screen puts a yellow box around pedestrians. We’re in the city now, but we go home to NC a lot so will be interesting to see if you get boxes or warnings about critters.

They are doing some construction around us and the street lights were out. The night vision was so good you could see signs and monuments that were black as bright as day.

We had a possum run along side the road the other night but I didn’t notice the circle. Maybe I didn’t look down quickly enough.
We will have to have a GW midnight sky blue party when you’re in NC😂

Not to worry, we'll start getting adventure feedback, a special Tire report from @Dahammer after his new 'shoes' are on (should be another day or two at his rate of burn). :ROFLMAO: I'll take a trip to a camp in the woods with really tight turns between trees, let you know how much it costs to repaint doors. I can see lots of things! 😁 @coolerbythelake will have to let us know if it works as an Ice Fishing hut next winter.
I’ll give the sand update. We’re possibly heading down to our house in Nags Head next week and I have our beach driving pass for the year!

Interesting story from yesterday. A neighbor brought us some meals and present for baby (We’re the talk of the neighborhood because of the fire truck and ambulances that came to deliver baby). She said, “wow a new baby and a new truck!” I told her that we waited months for the truck. She then proceeded to tell me her brother is one of the lead managers on the wagoneer/grand wagoneer line. 😳😳
Ohhhh, really - was my reply. Then something like - he should read the forums. 😂😂😂
She said he’s basically always stressed out. That they’ve had so many issues with parts and shipping.
Again I said, “yeah, so I’ve heard on the forums” 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

More news today from WCS. It seems multiple cases were opened for me, and they got someone else's VIN tagged with my email address which is where I got a message this morning saying my vehicle was in, had I gotten a chance to pick it up yet. With a message like that, guess how I've been today between meetings, calling the Dealership. 😵

Finally got things cleaned up just now (yeah, right), so at least I have an ETA of 16 May. 16 May, only ~2 months after the build, what could go wrong in all the storage lots? Nothing of course... Safe and snug as a bug in a rug. Isn't that the saying? 😂

At least I have the fun of imagining @coolerbythelake driving out on lake Michigan (or Superior or both!) next winter dragging sleds and not hearing the cracks due to the HEMI thumpin'. I can picture it now, new rush order for a new GW3 or worse yet, a tug with a crane on it to pull up your ride!
🙃
My guess @coolerbythelake will mount that big Rubber Ducky on the roof😂, maybe even having portable tire tracks mounted on his new shoes heading out on the ice.55A38FD1-6EB8-4C86-97AA-BB283FD50443.jpeg

I’m starting to get concerned about what we are all going to do once we have our new trucks and there are no more issues. Am I beginning to have forum separation anxiety?
Naw, I think most of us will check in sharing their adventures with family, friends as they enjoy the new ride. Of course some will offer tips, maybe troubles they are having or how da hell does that icon do dat?🤔
As an idea, we can someday meet up as a group. Like In the old days when CB radios was the thing a yearly meet. Meet vendors, get some repairs done Or modify radios.

That HAD to be a great acting job on your part. Well done, too funny! What is his area of management? You had to be tempted to ask that, then proceed with 'Bug injection or WIndshield deflection?'. 🤣 At least you know a place to go should you need to escalate anything in his area of responsibility. 😁

This is too funny! The only thing I could see adding to this per @coolerbythelake is a few 'sleds' hanging off the back. OMG this is just too spot on not to keep laughing. Well done, truly well done on this one. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

OMG 😂

You should’ve backhanded her and said to pass that on to your brother’s paint gal at work then.

I want that so bad!!!! 😂😂😂 That’s like one small step above a good pair of Blizzaks. Okay maybe two steps.

The REAL takeaway in that picture is all the blue in the sky. That means it’s probably starting to get a little chilly. Windchill is probably 10 below but ambient temperature still in the single digits if I had to guess. At those temperatures around here we actually think about putting on a light jacket to go outside.

And you think I’m kidding about that whole ice fishing thing - I’m not. I could’ve had this exact conversation with a neighbor just last week 😂 :

We can’t let this happen. I’ll still be around and none of you can leave. Before you know it there will be a whole new generation of posters in this thread excited about their orders and expecting to receive their issue-free vehicle in 6-8 weeks. We have to be around to set them straight and laugh at their naivety. We’re like the original cast members that no one will ever be able to replicate.
