Today I reached out to Wagoneer Cust. Svcs. for the 1st time to find out where I am in production. I was told that factory-ordered assembly parts arrived and they should be building my vehicle shortly. I signed up for weekly updates by email too. I did receive great customer service even though I don't have my GWS3 vehicle yet. Ordered date 11/30/21.

I ordered in early October, and was in that status (D1) from mid December until 2 weeks ago. In those two weeks I then went to F status (paint) then to day I found out I am in I status (final inspection). I called my dealership to see how long for delivery if I just moved to I, and they said approximately 6 weeks, if shipping is not delayed. Not sure this helps but giving you some information. It takes a long time

6 months???? Thats whack. I suspected this might be longer than the 2.5-3 months the dealer told so I went over to Cadillac in Freeport yesterday because the website shows inventory. Needless to say they really dont have much inventory and the one on the floor had a $10,000 upcharge from list. The Sales guy said for cars in stock they add $10k. No up charge for cars ordered however the wait is 5-6 months

Yes I am an Escalade man for my last three autos, but they are all looking the same, Yukon Tahoe etc. but had ordered one in September and they said it would be available in December or January. So I cancelled and ordered the grand. They told me last October that it would be the first of January, wishful thinking. But they first started producing the wagoner, then the twos, now the threes, I hope they wanted to worked the bugs out before the Grands went out. My guess yours will not take as long. Good luck

I ordered fully loaded GW3 in midnight blue with 2k deposit placed on 11/09/2021.

Got the VON and VIN from the dealer on 11/19.

Was told two weeks ago by WCS that it is in D1, but no build date or ship date. Dealer confirmed D1 last week and said they expected it at the beginning of Feb (which was hysterical because that convo was on 1/31).

I figure I’ll be lucky to have it in April and won’t be surprised if it’s late summer.

Last year, we ordered a JLU 392 in Nov and took delivery July 9 (after a two hour fight on a 30k addendum the dealer sprung on us). We won, but that stunt cost him the order on the GS3. Sad, because we’d bought 7 other cars from them in the last 10 yrs. I shopped around for 4 months until we settled on another tiny dealer 100 miles await that promised msrp. Sold my 2017 Audi Q7 to carvana rather than trade with the 392 dealer. Will be trading our 2017 JKU Rubicon Recon for the GW.

FWIW, my Q7 was in the shop all the time. A week after we got it home we discovered a huge paint bubble under the hood. That took a week at the body shop. Fuel rails were recalled and that took a week. I had a rock hit the windshield and they had to replace it 4 times - it kept leaking. The second replacement the scratched the hood, so back to body it went again. Then the electronics for heads-up display and ACC went haywire (pretty sure they got wet with one of the leaks). There was something wrong with the alignment. That car burned through drivers side front tires at an unbelievable pace. Always showed to spec and I rotated every 3k miles, but there was def a toe issue with that car. I kept it for the massage seats and the massage in the GW demo we looked at last year blew my Audi’s away.

Oh - and there is a 392 group where a guy tracks every Wrangler VIN, but particularly 392s. They were unable to find a pattern in production or sequencing with 3500 392 VINs tracked. Appears it’s all a crapshoot. Happy hunting everyone!

Wow, other than the fuel rails, and more recently getting door close/parking brake errors (fixed with a software update), my Q7 was pretty problem free.

My three complaints with it:
1. Closest dealer 2 hours away
2. Dated electronics (even new, they had a wow effect, but sketchy actually functionality other than wired android auto)
3. Bit of a wind buffeting noise (should have added that to my first sentence, as they tried replacing door weather trim and that didn't fix it)

I guess a bonus complaint would be lack of storage/cup holders. These Euro types seem to think when you are driving a car, all you do is drive.

I forgot about the interior lights! The leds around the cup holders had a spot where it stayed white when the ambient color was anything but white. The original “answer” from the tech was “just put it on white.” Um. No. They didn’t want to, but they ended up tearing out the console and replacing the run.

When they roof rack was on there was a TON of noise.
I also thought the annual charge for the connected services was ridiculous. I never renewed it after the initial promo, but $500 a year is crazy IMO?

BUT- the service was mostly great. There was always a loaner. They ran their appointments on time. I will miss that. Our Jeep service on the 392 mostly sucks.

I ordered mine at the beginning of last August. Finally hit "I" status. Hopefully it gets through the inspection soon. Am leery it will fail the inspection. I feel I'll be lucky to have it in a month. But am hoping 3 weeks or sooner.

Does the jeep website show your vehicle in inventory along with the dealer assigned to it? I currently have my VIN number but was curious that once it starts to get built, if I would see it populated on the site

Agreed on connected services. Jeep's seems pretty high as well. They both want to charge OnStar prices without having OnStar level services. I've never personally used OnStar, but my wife has and not sure how these other companies can charge the same as a service with a concierge type service at the push of a button. Alas, I'm a sucker, so will pay for it anyway, but moan about it along the way.

I checked multiple times for both my GC and GW and never saw it showing on the search page as in route to the dealer. Makes me think that the ones we see on the search page are ordered for dealer inventory vs. customer orders.

I should receive my update tomorrow. We ordered roughly around the same time if I recall. I’m half tempted to reply with “well walk your ass over there and tell them to start then, Evelyn” 😂

I check for a build sheet, window sticker, and CarGurus daily; on CG I sort nationwide and look at the newest listings to see the VINs. I know there isn’t any rhyme or reason per se but I do see the sequence numbers getting ever so higher.

Also, keep on an eye on the “Find Your Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer” section of Jeep’s website. There are three build stage options that appear: being built, in transit, and on dealer lot. I highly suspect that when ours kick over into actual production that they’ll be visible there. I also check my dealer’s website just in case. Curious to see when/if the vehicle because visible through any of these channels.

Dealer tells me my ship date is 02/13 but it hasn’t been built yet as far as I know.

@tnedator stated he didn’t see his on the Jeep site. I scour the dealer and Jeep site daily. I was unaware of the CG site showing this but will add that to my daily regimen. Thanks and keep us posted of any changes

I am in the same situation as you. My dealer first showed ship dates 2-11 and then 2-18 but client services shows no build date. We bought on 11-2.

I'm trying not to be in a hurry this year, it comes when it comes. Are you guys following the trucker protests in Canada/US? I feel like there is a trucker strike coming in a week or two in both countries, so who knows how that potential blast to our already struggling supply chains is going to ripple through. I'll be happy if I get my 2022 GW in 2022

Yes! I’m not holding my breath on any of this. I take any and all dates provided with a giant grain of salt. Until I get a call saying it’s at the dealer, I take none of these updates seriously.

Completely and thoroughly enjoying watching the elites and the media meltdown in Canada, though. Keep on honking! 😁

Ordered wagoneer series 2 on 11-12-21 (tow package, front passenger screen and rear entertainment). Today client service said "Approved for shipment but not scheduled." We'll see..

Wife's GW III, ordered on 10/15 and build finished on 12/13, just arrived at dealer this morning. Took over two weeks before it got on the train, and then has been sitting outside of Memphis in a rail yard for a month.

We will be picking it up tomorrow. I've let me wife drive my GC SR the last week and a half to get used to Uconnect, the HUD, etc., so that she's not learning the interface while also driving a bigger vehicle than she's previously driven.
