Noooo! But at least you have friends in paint with you. I’m still there as well. Maybe we’re sharing a brush. I mean, there are supply chain shortages everywhere.
What color did you order?
I feel you. Still Just Sitting, end of week 3.
Maybe they are on Spring Break. 😂
I’m hoping we get her end of April🤷🏻‍♂️ With a little luck.

Called WCS as I'm no longer receiving updates via email for some reason (Evelyn probably knows I talk shit about her and put me in the naughty corner - which is fine. I've been well acquainted with the naughty corner for years, we're like best friends.). I've been JS for about 3 weeks as well, and according to the gal on the phone my status just updated as of yesterday. I asked if that means I'm still JS or finally KZ. She said I'm no longer JS but wouldn't confirm a KZ status. Why are they so squirrely with giving status codes? There's literally not a single reason to not give me a status code. Still no window sticker but maybe there's a delay? Who knows. I'm going to try and verify with the dealer.

The missing window sticker puzzles me as well. I have been tracking our son's Jeep Compass order and the build sheet populated Monday 21 March, went KZ status on 22 March, and its in KZM (First rail departure) as of yesterday and still no Window Sticker. Maybe the bastard Russians are holding the stickers for ransom :)

Just spoke with the owner of my dealer. I've shipped! KZ as of yesterday. Was really hoping that I'd be thrown on a car carrier for the short distance but unfortunately not. It'll go by train from Detroit to Chicago and then the dealer's car carrier picks it up there and brings it up to Wisconsin. They don't have an ETA just yet and doesn't sound like they will until it's just about to arrive in Chicago. It'll be interesting to see when the window sticker pops up.

He was able to give me a little more info on what JS means these days, too. He said that while it can mean the vehicle has a default, some damage, or is waiting for a part (or chip), 9/10 times it's just moved to a lot where it waits for a shipping assignment. It'll kick over into status KZ once it receives its shipping assignment. It doesn't sound like there's some detailed inspection going on there beyond what happens at status I/J, that that's just fluff WCS has been throwing in to their updates. If something is wrong, it's rectified in the factory (usually on the spot). He said that what normally is a few days there in the JS lot has been anywhere from 2-3 weeks upwards of 5-6 because of the staff shortages at the factory and also with the shipping carriers. As we suspected, our vehicles are just sitting there waiting for trains.

I didn’t get a chance to check with my dealer but as of Tuesday my update came from your Evelyn and no change. I will reach out to my dealer and I hope mine is moving like yours since ours have been hanging together for those 3 weeks. Mine has to go all the way to Florida though.

Excellent news on all the movement happening for vehicles getting to shipping stages!

Made me check on a few things. An interesting but small update for all of us in either JS or later stage of the build process: trying to get your vehicle associated with your Mopar Wagoneer site.
I have been trying my VIN every week on my recently opened (January) account on the Mopar site for Wagoneers. The site hasn't been able to find my VIN each week. Today I tried and viola' it has my GW3 and added it to my account! Small change I know, however it does show the vehicle has reached a later build stage and that Stellantis is pushing the VIN into systems for supporting it, etc.

Another nice note, they have a recall page on the site and it shows no pending recalls so I'm hoping (fingers crossed🤞) all the vacuum hose, firmware, drivetrain, etc. updates must have been incorporated into the manufacturing line before the vehicle got to final inspection and released as built. I'll know better when I do the full checklist we've been building on this site. Yes, I plan on doing all those checks at the Dealership, it will be an all day thing if it has to, it will all be checked.

Now to contact the Dealership, see if they've been charged for it (which they do when it hits the KZ stage).

Meanwhile I’m still in paint. Checked with my dealer on Friday. Maybe now that all of you are out of the way I can get some seats and an engine.

Check for your stickers! My sons just popped in and it looks like there was a delay in a bunch of them. The HD truck forum had a bunch populate within the last few hours.

@Costa - do you think we should start a new thread that compiles a comprehensive check list for when we pick these bad boys up at the dealership? Seems like a lot of updates and items to look over before taking delivery…and from the sounds of it lots of vehicles coming in the next week or two.

Glad you asked @LERISI, we had a list however things have been getting fixed so no updates. That means it goes way down in the post list. I just replied and redid the list to help have one single post to print. For a fast find, here is the link.

Hope this helps. If you see or have read others, reply to that thread and next we can blend them again next weekend to keep it near the top of the post list for all to use. If I was the moderator I'd make it a pinned item and edit it, can't seem to do that currently. Hope this helps though!

Well, hope mine is on the same train as yours. My dealer is Homestead (the only dealer in a 75+ mile radius that committed to MSRP when I ordered).

I had a tough time as well finding a dealer to honor FCA affiliate pricing. I do know I have a certified dealer closer but hoping only needing for regular maintenance 🙏 Hopefully ours are on same train and it gets loaded soon.

Don’t even get me started on affiliate pricing 😖

So I received the first email update since the first week in March:

Good Morning,
My name is Paige, I will be your case manager and provide you with weekly status updates.
At this time we show your vehicle in KZ meaning the vehicle has been released by the plant for shipping. Once the vehicle is in-transit we should be able to provide an eta window.
I will continue to monitor and provide updates. I will follow-up on 4/1.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Paige?!?! Where TF is Evelyn?! I've been with Evelyn for 125 days and don't do change well. Now I realize there's like a 50/50 chance Evelyn accidentally wandered off a cliff bless her heart, but I just am not ready for the on pointness that is Paige this late in the game. Her grammatical perfection is much appreciated but she's not Evelyn.

So I was sitting in church this morning thinking about all of this (while praying, of course). This was how my train of thought went: I hope Evelyn is okay. ---> I wonder if Evelyn is even her real name? ---> Do you think they're just a group of random people who pick American sounding phone names like call center Pakistanis? ---> If I had to pick a name to follow-up with someone weekly about an order what name would I pick? ---> It would have to be a really Detroit-esque name. ---> La'Quishranequa would be perfect! ---> proceeds to get a case of the church giggles while writing the following weekly update letter in my head to myself as La'Quishranequa:

Hey Boo,

Sorry for the lack of updates. Had my work release finally approved on Friday so I'm playing catch-up. What had happened was this thirsty ass trick that goes by Momo made a move on my baby daddy Tone. I knew she been eyein him up for some time but I always managed to be the bigger person but I should've known better. My best friend Bonifa always be telling me girl you need to watch that low rent ho, she needs the sun because she shady as hell. But I still chose to believe for the best. Momo decided she'd make her move on Tone and I was having approximately none of it. I was like girl no and I dragged her bougie ass into the paint booth. Midnight blue pearl? Lmao more like midnight black and blue pearl girl bye. I was arrested and the paint booth was shut down for a few weeks. UAW wouldn't even return my calls from jail. Anyway, your Grand Wagoneer has shipped and I know you finna look so cute in it when it arrives. I'ma update you in like a week hopefully with an ETA.

Blessings,

See this is what happens when left waiting too long for a car to be built. Initially I'm fine and patient but then I become a little delirious and start coming up with better back stories for the people I'm working with to pass the time. I mean who knows, maybe this really is why paint has been taking so long these days. It could happen. 😂

I ended up with your lovely Evelyn this past week. I’ve had I think 4 now since November.
