I didn't Skip but the dealer Wagoneer specialist said on Friday that he would load an update. I should've asked for specifics. I'll text him on Monday morning. Thx for the suggestion.
So the latest update from Wagoneer Client Services is parts won't arrive until December 29th. The dealer plans on keeping the vehicle until then because things are disassembled. Yes, the dealer plans on keeping the vehicle I am making payments on for over a month. Can this even get any worse? I will be calling the dealer today.
Update - received our Wagoneer S3 back today. Seat heaters work properly - win! Updates to Uconnect did absolutely nothing to improve connectivity with our Android and Apple phones - constant disconnect and sometimes will reconnect. Dealer service sheet says try updating Phone software. All our phones are on the latest OS updates. Uconnect- major fail. I guess we'll just have to text and call with ours phones in our hands with our 90k Wagoneer.
UGH! Not acceptable. Did you ask if they initiated a STAR Bulletin for you? They tried to blame my iPhone (iPhone 13 with latest OS) updates too with the Grand Wagoneer - and we wouldn't accept that. When the engineers came out and realized they couldn't connect their phones - all of a sudden they were believers. Not optimal - but I'd drop it right back at the Dealer doorstep and demand a rental until they resolve it.
I wonder if the latest update from apple is causing these disconnects. I have a 2019 BMW X5 which Apple Carplay has worked flawlessly for the last 3 years. Now all of a sudden the phone is not automaticaly connecting when I get in the car. When I perform the hard reboot of the system it starts to work again for a few days

I would be surprised if that's it because we are having problems with both Android and Apple. Actually, any of our Apple phones work better than Android (though they still disconnect randomly).
I have a call with FCA corporate on Monday and will be discussing this.

Took a drive last night (about 60 miles). TomTom restarted no less than 7 times. It seems whatever was done to the uconnect made it worse. We'll see what FCA says on Monday.
I need to play around with our Nav. I use WAZE through Apple CarPlay and so far - so good! Though sometimes the volume comes through only front speakers (remedied by cycling u-connect on/off).
