Totally agree with that. But if my car doesn’t tow 10,000lbs, the website shouldn’t list it. If they list 10,000lbs, it should say something like “with 6.1L and 3.29 ratio” or something. Don’t just show it without an asterisk or anything. I shouldn’t have to be a tow expert to know how to find...
Thank you for your advice but according to the owners manual you do not need the bigger motor. You also do not need the tow package. The website also shows 10,000 under standard equipment. Nobody has ever told me to check the GVWR rating but that is great advice. No salesman has ever mentioned...
Appareciate that but again according to my owners manual even with the tow package, the 3.92 4x4 is not listed to tow 1,000 tongue (it’s not even on the list actuwlly). Also nowhere on the site does it say the tow package is necessary for the 10k tow limit.
