Actually, the problem is if you put the steps in stow mode, they might extend anyway and will drain the battery. This actually happened to my wife's after we put steps in stow mode to trailer it to a detail shop. Detail guy called me the next day saying car was dead. Dealer just did recall...
About to board a flight home and the wife called and said when pressing the button to fold the third row, it won't fold and says something is in the seat (not sure if it's a verbal warning or where she is getting this warning). She says nothing is in the seat.
Anyone seen this and how to get...
Hadn't seen the new TSB, I'll check it out, thanks.
To be clear, the GWIII is one of the three Jeeps, even if Jeep considers it a different brand. :) Over a three day period, we ordered a GWIII for the wife (replacing Acadia), GC SR for me (replacing a Q7) and a Wrangler JLU, to pull...
After getting word, and a picture, it reminded me that I never checked the fuses on my three new Jeeps, as that also appears to be a recurring problem I read of, fuses not fully seated.
Just closing the loop on this, good news is that it doesn't appear to be a new problem other's need to worry about. They found a ground wire that wasn't secured to the grounding bolt. Once they fixed that, high voltage went away, and they haven't seen the AEB issue again in test driving...
I was out of the country this week, and just got home, so my wife has been driving my GC SR. Car is still with the dealer. They are working with Stellantis, but so far no solution. We were hit with an ice storm, so dealer was shut down for day and a half, but the GM texted my wife yesterday...
Wife had hers for a week, and now it's in the show. She's in my GC, and I'm relegated to the Wrangler (fortunately, we are a three Jeep family). If we wind up with a solid stream of problems, she might regret it, but right now, in her short time with it, she loves it. Nice tech. Very...
Don't think it's just dirt. They reproduced it in dry conditions. Cleared the codes, and reproduced and they returned. Also, it's throwing a high voltage code. They've got a case going with FCA/Stellantis. Hopefully, they will get some direction Monday. Hopefully not a part with a long...
When I hopped into my GC SR, I was late for a dental appointment an hour away, I was having my wife look through the settings and it looked like via settings there was a low, medium, high sensitivity (might have been near, middle, far), and I believe in settings it could be disabled. Not sure...
I might have missed it, but don't recall this one being discussed.
Hopped in the wife's GWIII with her to head to a town about an hour away. Heavy downpour. In the two miles driving out of my development, the forward collision/Auto Emergency Braking (AEB) warning popped up on the screen...
My wife came from an Acadia, so she's uncomfortable parking. Yesterday, she went over to a parking lot a community ball field (bunch of baseball/softball fields and empty parking lot, to practice. There definitely isn't a lot of room between the vehicle and the lines to avoid dings, and it's...
I looked at the manual, and compared it to my grand Cherokee. Apparently, there should be an option in vehicle settings>>Camera for enabling front camera guidelines. I have that option on my '22 GC, but it's not on the GW III. I'm also hoping they address that in a software update, as that...
