Thanks for the comprehensive update @coolerbythelake , that is adding up to what I just got from my Sales person.

The system down is more than just WCS, it hit Jeep's systems for Dealers as well. It is a significant item, I suspect we'll all be reading/hearing about it in the news sources as soon as they clean up the issues and systems are back. So a lot of vehicles were built, stuck in different places for transport. Mine is a 1 hour drive from here, has been for some time due to the systems outage. @Dahammer was fortunate, one of the last to get through along with @LERISI . I may need to start that Air B&B arrangement with Lerisi !!

It could be the $2500 is to help us given this challenge they are having with systems. It could go up, just like the original was 1500, then popped to 2500.

As for the WCS reps, I feel the pain as I've been managing high tech Customer Service/Support for decades, and these situations are just nasty. Every call builds up the uglies all day. Thankfully I never had a sitation this long so I can only imagine it takes a lot not to type out or say 'Congratulations, you are ugly caller 500 for the day. You get a special prize. :poop: '. and then hang up. I could have used other symbols, but everyone can read this including kids, so that's about it. ;)
I’m pissed I didn’t wait a day for pick up! Would’ve saved a grand 😂

Is that color "Midnight Sky"? To me it just looks black in the photo, but I'm assuming it is more blue in real life.

I really wanted a blue car this go around and ended up going with river rock. It's more grey than I wanted, honestly all of the colors for the GW look muted and don't show well in photos. I've seen a few in person now (red, and the silvery pearl one I forget the name) and they look much better than the website shows.
Yes! It is midnight sky. It’s a deep navy (@Costa is correct - the previous page of this thread has a better image of the blue. I’ll put another one here)
I see you’re built and waiting shipment for the rover rock. Did you see the one I just posted? I knew i read some where that a River rock baby was on its way!
congrats on the build and I hope it arrives soon. We are loving ours!
I think if you zoom in on the back end you can really tell the navy color.

Thanks for posting! Yep I saw the River Rock photo, I think I like the midnight sky a little better, doh! Oh well I'm sure when I see my river rock baby in person I'll like it more. That blue in this picture looks sharp!

Oh well, lesson learned: even in the midst of a supply chain crisis do not buy a car until you've seen the colors on the lot! My other car is a Stringrey Wrangler 392, I didn't care for it at the time either but it has really grown on me.

Jeep Overlords, if you're listening, please make the photos on your website better. They are terrible at giving customers an idea of what they might want!

When we were choosing colors I really wanted the Ember but wasn’t patient enough for the “late availability”…who knows how many weeks that would’ve spent in paint 😂

anyway, I found a Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer brochure that was on a competitor Jeep dealer website. The photos in that catalog were more true to the paint tones and I was looking on an IMac Pro - not sure if the screen helped. They showed images of several midnight sky. It’s what convinced me that the navy would be a good departure from our family’s standard white with black out scheme….we already have 2 of these in the garage 🤦‍♀️

the river rock blue is very nice! You’re going to love it - now let’s get it on a train with the rest of them!!

Got an update from my salesperson today. She said the systems are *still* down and they are *hoping* it gets back up and running today. Sounds like it’s really causing havoc.

You could be right about the $2500. We didn’t get any discounts on the 392 last year despite delays, so I’m not holding my breath, but I certainly wouldn’t complain if they gave us $3000 in customer appreciation cash. 😄

A part of me wants ask “so I know systems are down and you’re unable to track the vehicles but they’re still being moved around and this isn’t affecting the carriers’ ability to transport them, correct?” but I’m really afraid of the answer.

I actually had a version of this typed out in my text to her, but deleted it because I just don’t want to know. 😳

I did a search (DuckDuckGo of course), and watched the video from Jeep and they showed the Midnight Sky Blue as the Grand Wagoneer in that vid. I then found another walk around online at a trade show, then saw one more someone posted doing a review. All Midnight Sky Blue, so I thought OK even though like @LERISI I wanted the Ember too but didn't want to wait since the Blue is just spectacular. Besides, we were Navy anyway, so it just seems to fit. ☺️

In light of the problem that Stellantis is having, the big cheese should offer those who are still waiting for their vehicles either a 5-10% off MSRP just for the inconvenience of waiting OR give each new owner when their car arrives a discount gas card where you can take $1.00 - $1.50 off a gallon of gas (hi-test) when you fill-up at any gas station for one year. Let the customer decide.
Me- Ya, messed up Stellantis's, and time to think of the customer 1st. A happy customer is a repeat customer.

Interesting. My Dealer said they didn't believe the status in the system so maybe it's the old Magic 8 Ball someone is using? Turn it over and see what it says.... 'Not Today', or 'Try Again'
I kind of want to throw a Magic 8 Ball into someone's face. "Not today!" *chucks ball* 😂

I'm leaning towards believing your dealer on this one. I do think vehicles are moving and not being reported. On CarGurus just now, while searching for newest listings of new Grand Wagoneers, I'm able to find a good 7-10 examples of vehicles on dealer lots with actual pictures. When I pull up their window stickers the release dates on them already shows dates in April. I was able to find two in Georgia with 4/14 dates on their stickers. Kind of makes me want to drive down there and key them both but that's neither here nor there. LOL

I'm half expecting a call from the dealer saying my car showed up with no warning. It's gonna happen one of these days...

ordered a River Rock on 2/22.. build on 3/30 and was delivered today but they had no way of tracking it the last 10 days so was surprised when it showed up.
That is unreal! Many ordered last year, I did mine on Jan 1st, Built on 3/24, no status at all. Seems the Carolinas are getting vehicles before the Mid-Atlantic. Not only that, @coolerbythelake is only a few hours away from the factory, it's built, still no joy!

Congratulations, and what a nice surprise! Pics please, thought the River Rock looked interesting and would like to see how it REALLY looks. ☺️
