Key fob not detected

So just like the title says. My wife went to go pick up my kid from school. She turned the car off while parked for 20 mins then when my son arrived she tried to start the wagoneer but it said it couldn't detect the key fob. It directed her to use the key fob to touch the start button with the key fob but still the wagoneer wouldn't start. She waited approximately 1 min then tried to start again and then it started.
Anyone else have this issue? We have had the car for about 2 weeks now. Wagoneer series 3.

I've had issues when my key fob and phone are in the same pocket. I think the owners manual even refers to this. I have put them both in the cupholder without issues though so like most of the issues with this car there really isn't any consistency.

So far this has not happened again yet lol. Just that one time so far.
