Heads up display

How do you get the speed limit to post on the heads up display? I've gone into the custom set up and installed and uninstalled the speed limit but it still won't show up on the display. I've tried clearing everything out and reinstalling in different positions but still no speed limit. It shows up on my nav screen so I've just have to be doing something wrong in my set up.

Try adjusting the height (position) of the HUD. I had the same problem and found the speed was actually of the screen. No problem after adjusting the vertical position.

I've tried both of the above but still no speed limit. I have to be setting up the screen incorrectly or perhaps not saving things right.
Every day i'm starting to feel more comfortable with this car and other than speed limit and heated seats turning off prematurely things have been working good. I still can't say enough good things about the ride and quietness.

Did you get your heated seats fixed? Our Wagoneer was in the shop for 3 weeks and they did get the heated seats fixed. They had to order new heating grids. Works correctly now.

Haven't had it in for the seats yet. Most of the common issues that have been showing up on here were rectified at my last update from the dealer. Other than the seats, which have a known correction, I'm just dealing with the rear screens staying on all of the time and my speed limit not displaying in the heads up display. I thought I'd see how long a list I have before it goes back in. My fingers are still crossed but I've had quite a few trouble free days.

So I just bought my wife a series 3 wagoneer and we couldnt figure out the speed limit on the HUD. After some research we found out its only on the convenience package called traffic sign recognition.
Now traffic sigm recognition only comes standard in the Grand wagoneer series 2 and higher. All others need to purchase the convenience package for this option. I think this is a load of crap because when going to your HUD options it gives you the option to put it on the HUD dispay. Very confusing if you ask me. Also paying 86k msrp this shit should be standard. I mean its not even standard on the Grand wagoneer series 1 at 88k.

I do not have the convenience group so that's possibly the problem. I don't understand why the speed limit is listed in the heads up display options if it's not available though. If I set up the display I'm given the 5 optional positions which I fill with the 5 available options. On the windshield only 4 positions are shown however, with the speed limit absent.

Yeah its messed up. I saw the speed limit on the display setup but can't add it. Im going to call wagoneer services in the beginning of January and see if its possible they will add it as a software update. If they wont its because we dont have the traffic sign recognition which is what comes with the convenience package. I wonder if traffic sign recognition is just the speed limit sign? I mean we technically have it on the nav screen at the bottom far right. Cant see it being to difficult to transfer it to the HUD.

I put a case number in to see if they can add it on a software update. I mean the custom display shows you can add it and it shows up on the 10 inch nav screen. I recommend you call wagoneer client services and request a case number. The more we complain they might add it. I know they can i mean its there on the nav screen so we should be able to add it
