I have hit the point where I needed my first oil change. I called the Jeep dealership in Franklin, TN, and the experience we less than desirable. One of the reasons I got the Grand Wagoneer was the service promise they give. The individual that took my call said they don't give loaner vehicles, because they were all out. I could have bought that if my appointment was not two weeks out. She then proceed to tell me no one who has bought a Wagoneer from them gets a loaner because they don't have them. I also had one minor thing I wanted them to look at with the LED lighting, and she told me they had no openings until late March, it's Feb. 12th- what the heck.
I understand the labor shortage everyone is going through, but when I take my Mercedes, no questions asked loaner given and the most I wait is a couple days and usually the next day. I've also had two Escalades and Chevrolet provided much better service with them, loaners and all. I hope Wagoneer can work out these services issues I've read about, or it will really hurt them in the long run. I love the vehicle, but part of the experience for getting such a nice vehicle , is the service.
