First Service Experience

I have hit the point where I needed my first oil change. I called the Jeep dealership in Franklin, TN, and the experience we less than desirable. One of the reasons I got the Grand Wagoneer was the service promise they give. The individual that took my call said they don't give loaner vehicles, because they were all out. I could have bought that if my appointment was not two weeks out. :( She then proceed to tell me no one who has bought a Wagoneer from them gets a loaner because they don't have them. I also had one minor thing I wanted them to look at with the LED lighting, and she told me they had no openings until late March, it's Feb. 12th- what the heck.

I understand the labor shortage everyone is going through, but when I take my Mercedes, no questions asked loaner given and the most I wait is a couple days and usually the next day. I've also had two Escalades and Chevrolet provided much better service with them, loaners and all. I hope Wagoneer can work out these services issues I've read about, or it will really hurt them in the long run. I love the vehicle, but part of the experience for getting such a nice vehicle , is the service.

Class action will be put in place before too long I think if they fail to provide the services promised. Wagoneer service.jpg

Each dealership is supposed to follow guidelines to be considered a WCS dealership. Have you reported out this issue to Wagoneer Client Services yet? If nothing else that dealership (independently owned business) should start getting dinged and potentially the Wagoneer allotment removed so they can't sell them going forward. Only way to ensure they step up to deliver without making lawyers rich. That's all a Class Action does, make Lawyers rich. You get a dollar when it's done.

Stellantis has been jumping into the mix with Dealers as they try to get this upscale service model deployed. Getting WCS engaged is how they can get these things corrected. It is the only way Stellantis has of knowing what Dealers are not making good on the commitments. Since they get good margins on these vehicles versus everyday CDJR vehicles, it makes a difference if the Wagoneer sub brand gets removed at the end of this model year.

You can also go to any CDJR dealership to get the free service and loaner. Of course there has to be one around to get it done. They are also supposed to bring you the loaner, take your vehicle for service and then return it when done. Be stubborn, plus get WCS involved. Should help shift their attitude. Just an opinion based on what I'm seeing others get done via WCS on this forum.

Which dealership did you take it took? Taking a quick look at the Wagoneer website, only Freeland and Stan McNabb are listed as Wagoneer Certified (when searching for Franklin, TN). I wouldn’t expect Wagoneer service at non-certified dealers.

This is one of the primary reasons I am purchasing. Hopefully they don't disappoint but I've almost relegated myself into understanding I will be disappointed just based on my local Jeep dealer.

Wagoneer services helped me get a better loaner vehicle, after the dealership was not helpful, they ended up renting us an Expedition through Enterprise.

Nice to hear, Jeep will have to get their dealers on board if they want to enter this market and stay there. They seem to not be having any issues selling these Grand Wagoneers at the moment

I suspect this first year they let every dealership sell them. WCS is probably being used to monitor which ones are smart and try to do what WCS is branded to do, and which ones are failing miserably. Next year I am guessing the latter won't be selling Wagoneer brand. That way every dealer had a shot, up to them if they made it or blew it.

Just my guess on what I'm seeing on this forum and what I'd do if I was Stellantis trying to break into the Luxury market.
