Dead battery grand wagoneer series III

My grand wagoneer is about 8 days old with 1400 miles on it. I went out the truck today and completely dead. No weird clicking or dim lights, dead like the battery completely removed. No after market products or mods of any kind, nothing in any of the power points. Was parking in a garage over night at 70 degrees. My noco 15 amp charger refused to start charging it. My noco gb150 (3000 amp starter pack) brought it to life but couldn't turn it over. At that point however the battery was showing 5 volts and my plug in charger started to charge it at least. I took the wrangler to work and left it charging. That's where I'm at now. I thought the dead battery issues were for the 5.7 E-torque systems when I bought it. The only thing different about last night was I took about 400 lbs of cargo out of the back and put the rear seats up. So either it's somehow related to the adaptive suspension after the ignition is off, rear seats continuously drawing power, or something completely different. Just food for thought for those in the forums. I love the value I get from the posts of other people on other topics so I'm just sharing my experience, not ranting at this point, lol. Unfortunately I purchased this from a dealer 80 miles away. I'll see what they say.

I have just been following the three Wagoneer Facebook groups where this issue is widely discussed.

What site did you go to to figure that out? My wagoneer app says nothing in the recalls section. Thanks!
The inconsistencies are not surprising. The recall does show up in my Wagoneer app. Granted, the app says there is no owners manual for me vehicle available 😀

Me either - no notification..... hmmmmm
There is a recall out there to address it, on another note the vast majority of new cars give you no notice when the battery goes, just happened to my brothers new Mercedes, pulled up to my house, one hour later, nothing…they towed it and replaced the battery.

I'm still not showing the recall on my App either - will ask dealer to look it up next week. Thanks for sharing
