Climate “hard buttons” not working

So after a 1000 mile trip..we LOVE the comfort and safety of the Wagoneer S3. A few glitches we found. The touch screen (in comfort mode) works fine. You can adjust the fan speed/temperature AC etc..BUT…the hard (analog) buttons below the screen behave oddly. ALL they do is DECREASE..example if the AC is on and both zones are on 65 and either one of us wants to increase the temp..pushing the UP arrow it goes down..push it enough and it goes all the way to low..with the FAN button if we want to increase the fan speed pushing the up arrow..it goes down..keep pushing it and it shuts the whole system down. Again all this works on the touch screen but the buttons don’t increase anything.

we did..car ran flawlessly and we got 23.6 average mpg on the highway. and I do like the drop down to 4cyl on straightaways .. amazing MPG when it does that. the suspension on this vehicle is unsurpassed.

as for those buttons..it was explained to me that they work on the same way as the electric windows push to lower/pull to raise…duh?

Same issue as well as back seat temp controls out of whack. Otherwise very happy!

How would you pull up on this button? On our Wagoneer they appear designed to be depressed only? We have this analog button issue as well as the seat heaters now kick off. Taking the vehicle to the dealer on Thursday. Hopefully they can resolve. Otherwise we have been very happy with it.

Ours do the same. Heading to the dealer on Saturday- will let you know what they say.

Are you saying your climate control buttons aren’t working similar to the OPs? If so, you have to lift up on the switch to increase the temp and push down on it to turn it down. The fan control works the same way. It’s like a light switch.

Envision the button as a light switch, just put your finger under the edge and lift up gently.

I'll try that- not super intuitive.

Originally, our climate control buttons were kind of "stuck"and would only go down. However, a gentle nudge enabled them to move in the up direction as well. The "light switch" analogy someone gave was good. And you're right, it's not intuitive especially based on the arrows.
