Just got home! It is as magical as you think it will be. I look forward to doing a nice write up on it on here in the next few days and posting few pictures out in the sunshine. Some pics are attached from before I sped away - couldn’t be any happier with the rims and tires.

All checked out well (so far) with exception of the windshield. It has the infamous wave/blur in it on the passenger side. The dealer already has a replacement ordered. Still fine to drive otherwise.

I love it! Was totally worth the long, miserable wait!

The long miserable wait is over.
You got a BEAUTIFUL vehicle. I love the pics of socks and shoes.
Yes, let us know about your experiences driving her. I can't wait for pics of 72 cousins being towed on their sleds all at once on the ice:D:ROFLMAO:.

I believe @Costa should be next in on the arrival of his new ride too.

I found this article on the Stilantis branding. I think it won't happen for a while and agree with author. Pandemic, chip shortages, parts manufacturing and transport of parts, inflation, and dollar value all play a crucial role and brand loyalty by customers.
https://autotrends.org/2021/01/18/the-14-brands-of-stellantis/
I was thinking something more along the lines of this when Jeep was still under FCA and was going to spin-off Jeep into a stand-alone.

Maybe decoupling Jeep (including Wagoneer) or Jeep (stand alone) and Wagoneer (stand alone) from the current Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram set up.

Even just decoupling Jeep and Wagoneer together I think would result in improved customer service.

@coolerbythelake you seem to be my good luck charm. Guess what just hit the Dealer today and is in pre-delivery prep? Yes indeed, a Midnight Sky Blue GW3! So all the recent activities from all our members seems to have been the result of the clog breaking free with this latest hack situation getting cleared up.

The Sales person asked if I wanted to pick it up tonight or tomorrow. I said wow, you mean all the TSBs, CSBs and software updates are done already, even the latest Windshield one? Wow.

And the answer of course was, gee, let me check on that. Silence ever since. 😁 Training time, first time at this dealer so it takes a while to spin up the Mmanagement, Service team and Sales floor. :ROFLMAO: They will learn, I have faith.

So, when I do go pick it up I will make sure to take the pics I always ask of everyone else.

P.S. Hey @LERISI , I guess I have to bow out on the Air B-n-B sharing of your GW. ;)

YES!!!! I'm so excited and can't wait to hear what you think!!! I just love my GW. Just got back from running to the grocery store. I ran out of pita bread and didn't have time to make any (I really just needed an excuse to drive LOL). I'm screwed if Mom happens to call tonight to say hi because she'll hear it in my voice and be incredibly disappointed in me. All the lemons in every fridge in the world won't save me.

From what I've heard from my dealer there's a very good chance your windshield will be affected but it's really not a big deal for me. Doesn't impact me as the driver and any passengers who take issue can just walk 😂. But *knocks on wood* things have been going very well. Everything else has been perfect so far and hopefully it stays that way. Everything on the checklist has been great except the windshield but that's minor as far as I'm concerned. They don't even have an ETA on a replacement yet so we'll see. I've been making little notes here and there that we can discuss once we've each had ours for a bit. We'll have to start a new thread for that.

I called it, I smelled that new vehicle of yours @Costa, and most importantly CONGRATULATIONS!! Your ship has come home! Don't forget to take some pics of her.

Thank you both! Looking forward to it tomorrow evening. I have the full list, and some DM 'homework' I will have to accomplish to consider it an "Authorized Pickup" in my book. 😁 Good nose @Dahammer !

Looking forward to finally being a member with an actual GW! As for the windshield, if they put one on order I'm good to go, besides it is my wife's side if it's like yours @coolerbythelake , and she's only 4'10" so it may not even bother her! Anyone else, well, you said it best.

Update all after I get it and have the pics!!!

My River rock GWS3 is at the dealer today!! Waiting on my pirelli tires to get mounted and for it to be ready for me to pick up. No rush, was worth the wait.

Will be the biggest check I've ever written for a car (well cashiers check, but you know what I mean), especially given the markets lately. oof! But road trips this summer are going to be awesome with my new baby. Hmm, I normally pay for a car outright, but given inflation, maybe I should finance half of it? Just thinking out loud, low interest fixed rate debt is good to hold in inflationary environments.

A few weeks ago I ordered the crossbars for the roof and a few other accessories, they came in over a week ago. Except still waiting on the rear cargo mat, I like to be able to cover the carpet when hauling camping gear. In unrelated news my RV upgrades are done and I'm picking that up early next week, perfect timing! Can't wait to take both out for a trip. Will post pics!

Congratulations, @GWDailyDriver, on finally getting your new vehicle. Your long wait is now over. Looking forward to seeing pics of your new ride and reading of your adventures driving your vehicle.

I dropped 85% down in cash (certified) and financed the rest. I consider my GWS3 an investment. My logic is, can this vehicle be worth more or way less in a year or two than what I paid for. I got a nice piece of change when I traded in my Ram Larmine, which was three years old. Time will tell what is out there in 2023 and 2024, and that's how long I'm keeping Patty.

I think to provide excellent customer svcs, changes are needed. What is their vision of delivering? Your guess is as good as mine. They could separate Jeep and make it Wagoneer only as a brand entirely. They could offer a step and step up the offer. For example, if a customer buys a Wagoneer, you get these amities, and if you buy a Grand Wagoneer, you get these upgraded offers. Customer svcs then could differentiate and implement. HOWEVER, Customer SVCS lacks an actual management authority in dealing with dealerships. I've seen and personally felt, cause it happen to me at RAM, that dealerships and their service departments have an attitude toward manufacturers and a customer F**K You attitude.
Stillantis would have to grow a set of balls with sales and service and re-write contracts with them. Example- You represent us and our vision, and any deviation will be dealt with both internally and legally. Most dealerships would fall in line quickly, and some would drop out. There is always a make one an example if they don't. Shit Happens...

Outstanding! Congratulations, we have a real avalanche of we "New" owners in the forum. I really can't wait to see the River Rock , that looked so great on my monitor. I have to see what yours looks like with that really great color!

Love the extras you purchased as well, nice. Trips will be super, no doubt about it. Congrats!!!

Why use your own money when you can use someone else’s at a low fixed rate? My thought was Hopefully when markets settle I should make more than the 2.5% interest I pay on the GW loan.
Also, you may need all the liquidity you can get your hands on to pay for gas 😂

$125 fill up today in NC…even when I use my Harris Teeter fuel points

I like your optimism the market will rebound/settle soon. 🙂

Congrats!!

On the GSW3 the cross bars are included and are stowed in the rear under the carpet. So verify in delivery and return the ones you purchased.

re: mats, I found OEM GW mats on sale at Falls Mopar city.

82216314AC - seat mats
82216175AC - cargo area mat

$375, including shipping.
