Need ideas for manually folding in the passenger side mirror.

I am totally wanting to get a Wagoneer. Sadly only the top-of-the line models have electric retractable side mirrors. From a prior thread, I can get it in my one-car garage with literally 1/2 inch clearance on each side, and that's with the driver side mirror pulled in! Nearly impossible and I'd hate to keep this from getting one. So....I am thinking of some kind of a rubber "claw" or gizmo about 3ft long that, so I can roll down the passenger window and pull with passenger side mirror inward before I go into the garage. That would buy me 3 more inches to get into the garage, which would work. I need ideas of what would work, doesn't look too tacky, can keep it on floor of back seat, is not real bulky and won't scatch the mirror. (Example - Something on a short broom stick that can grab the mirror (rubber on end?) with a grip on the mirror to pull it inward. Of course if I have a passenger, it won't be a problem. Need specific ideas of what tools are out there, or I could construct without requiring and engineering degree to figure out....Thx!!!!!

Exactly what I thought when I read the OP ask. Nice link to a 40inch grabber. It's foldable, so easy store. Looks like it has silocon inside layers to not scratch and the width of the claw should be pretty close to the mirror size. Nice one Dahammer!
