There is a setting, I believe, to change the aggressiveness of the response or to turn it off altogether. Yes, it can be a bit aggressive and surprising the first time it happens.
Winner, winner. Would maybe need to make it a bit shorter than the Ford Excursion was. Would also need to do something about the rough ride, but would be a very capable vehicle.
I've tried to do a quick search for parts on the Mopar parts site, and have found that there are lots of mirror choices. It is also not clear if/how the door switch can be obtained. My thinking is, if it can be done, it may require:

That's no good. Sorry to hear that. I wonder if the power fold mirrors can be a mod (since you need to replace at least one part anyway). On the HD Ram trucks there are many mods/upgrades that can be accomplished by swapping out upgraded parts and programming/updating settings via AlphaOBD.
Just measured our Wagoneer Series III with the driver's mirror folded. It is 90.5 inches wide (used a plumb bob to mark the driveway at the widest points on each mirror).
I have the same addendum and only found it today after specifically looking for it (purchased our Wagoneer Series III last week). It is odd, and there should be an explanation from Jeep/FCA. My hope is that it is something simple like the need to add a trailer brake controller.
