Windshield defect

We are waiting for our WIII to arrive. With all these problems we are thinking of passing on this vehicle. Way to many problems for a vehicle in this price range. I know my wife will not be happy with the vehicle having so many problems and being in the service bay. She has been driving Tahoe's for 25 years new one every 3 or 4 years. Never have any of her Tahoe been in the shop. Yes oil and filter. But never any problems. Just can't see how they can release these vehicle with these known problems to the buyers. Seems the Jeep does not have much control with the dealers to get these issues taken care of. With the wait times I see from problems people are having with this GW or W is crazy for a high prices unit.
I will talk with my dealer to see what his input is on all these problems.. Seems from reading Wagoneer Client Services has no control once your dealers have to deal with the problems. If your a dealer the last thing you want is a bunch of GW and W taking time and space in your service bays. Will check and see if Nevada has a lemon law.
So I had a 2016 Yukon Denali and 2021 Tahoe HC and both saw considerable service time. The 2016 had well known major electrical issues with infotainment and transmission issues. the 2021 was a 1st gen 1st year and had major issues from the day that I brought it home (so many recalls as well). We may be certainly be in the same situation here, but I would consider yourself lucky that you had zero issues from a GM product.

If I could do it over, I would pass until Stellantis can actually produce a Wagoneer without major issues. Ours is currently in the shop for a number of issues including a major drive train issue. Depending on how long it's there, it will likely be a total of 4 weeks the vehicle has been in the shop since we purchased in November. Totally ridiculous.

Add me to the list. I was told its a coating on the glass. I'm not sure it's actually glass not some sort of polymer.

I have the GW series II and the factory windshield has a manufactured defect. It appears to have two vertical areas that cause distorted viewing at certain angles. I have shown the dealer and they ordered a new windshield but according to them the replacement windshield had the same defect. Apparently Jeep is aware of the problem but I have not received any additional information on a fix. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? If so, is there a solution on the horizon?
I have the same issue with the windshield! Has anyone had feedback from Jeep about replacement?

I have a new one supposed to be here Feb 18th. Add it to the list of issues i am having. But its something i knew would happen being the 1st run of the vehicle. Once they get all the small kinks out i am gonna be happier than i already am. Its a super nice vehicle for my family so far.

I just got mine 2 weeks ago and the windshield does not have that issue described. But it does have a different issue with some weird reflection during the day where it look like 2 laser beams floating in front of the driver. Pretty annoying

Kate. Already on it! My new windshield should arrive on the 18th. There is a TSB for the rear windsheild wiper. And really hoping a software update take care of a bunch of other things! My dealer (Energy Dodge in Kindersley Sask Canada) has been nothing short of perfect to deal with. There whole staff is amazing!

Good afternoon, Wagoneer Owners!

We wanted to take the opportunity to alert you all of a TSB that has been released for the concern you all have mentioned. TSB 23-015-22 involves replacing affected windshields on both the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. If any one needs assistance at their dealer having this addressed, our team is in private message and happy to help. Thanks!

Thank you Kate! Outstanding to get this message here on the Forum. Leveling up, I like it. Of course it is an issue but we'd rather hear it straight and sooner.

THANK YOU!!! (y)🙂
