Did you have success? Anybody have a summary of what exactly was included and if it resolved any of the known issues?

Yes it updated just fine. Unfortunately couldn’t get to the screen that shows you everything that has changed. I tried

How do you force the update? I have mine set to update over WiFi but I don't think I'm supposed to let the vehicle sit in my garage on "Run" for 8 hours hoping it finds the update.

No clue how to force it. All I know is I left to run errands then came back to my garage and put it in park and it automatically popped up. I clicked install then turned off the vehicle and it did it’s work

I guess we can look at the OTA's like another Easter egg! they pop up occasionally and you find them.....

All kidding aside - I wish I had better insight too, on when OTA's are pending and how they are "pushed." Since my OTA update last week - mines been in the shop with a blank/black screen and 4wd issues again.... ugh..... did get loaner delivered to me today. So that's a plus+++. In fact, its the same "L" that I've had a few times now. I think I've put more miles on the loaner than my own W/II 😂😂😂

Good thing for us grand wagoneer owners is we are guaranteed a free loaner while no one else gets loaners because there are no vehicles.

Mine has tried three times and I still get error code -4. Going around in circles with Uconnect. Dealer can't install themselves, has to be OTA. But if my truck won't accept the OTA, that leaves me screwed.error.jpg

Mine has never displayed anything about an update. Yesterday, am FCA customer rep told me my radio connected on 12/29 but again, nothing appears to have changed. Actually though, since the dealer had it for three weeks, it's worse. Just last night the screen went dark and stayed dark even after cycling the vehicle power. Had to do a soft reset. Ugh!

Just a positive update today with that Uconnect -4 Error code issue

I fully charged the main AGM type battery overnight.

I did a factory hard reset of the Uconnect System last night.

This morning, the truck installed the OTA update successfully.

So the solution was likely either the battery charge (maybe the previous Amplifier drain which was subject of a recall had depleted the battery enough to cause issues with the software update) OR it could have just been the Uconnect hard reset that fixed the problem

Am I the only one with a grand wagoneer with no big issues?
You are surely one of the few! Which is great news! Wondering if your "off the line" VIN/Production is a result of lessons learned/altered practices/updates. Keep rolling, my friend!

This is the reply I received direct from FCA - "What I am being told is we've still received some complaints after this update. Unfortunately, this does mean that software-wise, I don't have any further assistance I can provide. We are scheduled to get the next software version from the supplier within the next week or so. Then it begins the full testing and validation process with Stellantis - so it will be, at the very least, later in the fist quarter of 2022 that we might see it go out to all customers. All of that timing is subject to change."
