Hey all.
Purchased a 1986 Wagoneer with the original 360. She has been sitting for 5 years. Still runs (burns a little rich) and is in need of a full tune-up.
With it sitting for so long, the oil, I can only imagine, is more the consistency of old chewing gum than motor oil. I have been considering doing an engine flush to clean out whatever I can. I want to avoid a rebuild at this time (the engine has 215K miles on it). I have read pros and cons of engine flushes.
Any thoughts, opinions, and/or experience in revitalizing an old motor without doing a complete rebuild?
