I was trying to decide which thread to post it on and just decided here is as good as anywhere.

Have 130 miles on it. AML went down after the dealer insisted all required updates were done, and me pestering about individual ones.

So- will be calling Wagoneer services today to schedule and see what happens. Stinks. Think I triggered it when I put it on active drive assist.

(and good lord the learning curve is not small. I’m pretty techy, but there were several things I learned by going through the book).

I did not get Paige. 😭 The guy that answered was nice, but basically said I just need to call a local dealer tomorrow and take it in. He “escalated” it and said I should get a follow up call tomorrow from WCS since there are no Wagoneer certified dealers in my area.

No certified dealers, ouch. That's a shame. I would have thought there would be quite a few in FL...

Since there is no certified Wagoneer service dept near you, where would the closest one be by you? How far?

Good question. When I searched on Jeep.com the only ones I found were in Texas. Idk how accurate that is, But given that WCS said I should just go to autonation near me since there weren’t any certified ones, maybe it’s right?

The first time I searched several months ago there was one in Miami-Dade and one in Tampa. But I guess they didn’t follow through for whatever reason….

So is there a real benefit to using a Wagoneer Certified dealer aside from the appropriate service loaner and remote pickup?

Hopefully you’re able to get some answers. I really wanted my GW last week but I’m not complaining they wanted to keep it for a bit to check everything.

I think the Wagoneer site is trying to keep up, yet they don't have a good process (or any process) to validate who's certified for their database. Seems strange to me too, but I found my Dealer is one of 5, and only a couple of the 5 are certified per the Wagoneer website. It changes too, one day they are showing up with a banner, other days the same place doesn't even show.

@WagoneerCxSvc , is there any consistent way for us to find out who really is a true Certified Wagoneer dealer and who isn't? There has to be a contract between the independent Dealer network and Stellantis that allows Stellantis to dictate compliance with the Partner Program WCS' commitments or lose the certification, right? A quallifier like X amount of trained Service Technicians on Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer servicing and repairs?

Hopefully you’re able to get some answers. I really wanted my GW last week but I’m not complaining they wanted to keep it for a bit to check everything.

The salesperson gave a sheet that states they went through all service bulletins and updated everything, but it was also the first GW3 they have sold there. They were great. Smooth process, super nice people working there. Just one of those things where they went through what Jeep told them too, but something was missed, I guess. Me: are you sure? Them: yes! Oh, no. And she was willing to get me an appointment that fit my schedule and do what she could. As a mom and pop, my impression is that they don’t have the resources to send a flatbed to get it and then drive me a loaner up. They’re 40 miles from me.

Sadly, the detailed also was new and threw away my window sticker. 😩 So I have a picture of a crumpled one where the salesperson pulled it out of the trash. The “This vehicle was built especially for…” is sort of readable….lol.

I can’t be mad though. They were the first dealer to have a demo near me and that’s what I fell in love with. They guaranteed MSRP when no one else in a 200 mile radius would when I ordered. Including the dealer 2 miles from me that is the one that will allegedly service it next week. 🤣

I checked Wagoneer Mopar for service this morning to see if my dealer was certified. On my home page, it show's the dealership which I bought the vehicle from. Then I clicked for service, and in the search box, I said 100-mile radius, and a populated list appeared. My dealer service department was listed, BUT they are not certified.:oops::unsure:...
Only 5 dealerships are certified within 100 radius by me in NY, L.I...out of 17. If you hadn't brought this up, I would have never known. Screen Shot 2022-05-09 at 11.42.52 AM.png

Well today's the big day! 24 weeks ago today (168 days) I ordered my Grand Wagoneer and it's finally ready to come home. Making the 1hr 15 min drive down to the dealer early this evening to get it.

It sounds like everything is in good, working condition and I'm really hoping it stays like that. Latest thing the dealer was working on was UConnect. Something wasn't connecting properly but it sounds like it was resolved. They said everything in the vehicle was thoroughly checked so fingers crossed! I'll let you all know how it goes. It's nice, sunny, and mild here today - a perfect day to run the unsuspecting off the road with a new toy 😂

Awesome news! Congratulations on getting 'The' call.

Best to you and remember, P I C T U R E S of any off roading you do, just don't put incriminating ones on there about a real duck instead of that inflatable one you said you wanted for the roof. DuckDuckJeep is about little rubber duckies, not the ones in the pond!

Sounds redundant saying it to you, but HAVE FUN!! 😁

I really wonder if they are going to spin off. Exhibits 1 and 2 from AT&T Uconnect….. 🤔

I'm not sure of the spin-off from AT&T data. Other carriers use different frequencies for data. Since our vehicles don't use e-Simms, it's cost-prohibitive to swap out for now.

@Back2Jeep also...

I read last year and early this year the sub-brand of Wagoneer was the original intent, just like Ram from Dodge, another part of the 'group' by Branding only. That's why the Jeep logo is pretty much missing, kept in a few parts that have Jeep on them, like a few of the plastic covers over lights, plus some ditties put in as 'easter egg' style items this year.

It's why I've been guessing about the Certification routine for this year: let all the Dealers have a shot, those that follow the commitments and outlines of 'new showroom' (at least start or contract for one), loaner process, hiring concierge floor people, etc. The Dealers who don't, and the ones constantly being escalated on by WCS, or have customers slam them direct to Stellantis have fewer 'points' toward being Certified.

Next year, without Certification, it will be just like Seinfeld's Soup Nazi; 'No Wagoneers for you, one year'. :ROFLMAO:

Ok, I'm lost in conversation. Are we talking data or branding?
Given the examples showing Jeep, then the Wagoneer branding in @Back2Jeep 's post coming from the UConnect pages, I was presuming Branding.

You and I of course would love to use someone else as the provider so I get that Data comes to mind first.

I’m pumped for you! I hope you had a great day with the pearl beast!

Looking forward to hearing how it all goes!

If you can, please find out what the dealer did to resolve the UConnect issue, might be valuable info!
