Well I just had WCS escalate my case to management today. We’ll see what that does if anything.

My dealer is trying to get some answers with their rep from corporate. Not sure if they can speed this along but they’re trying to get me an additional discount voucher or seeing if Jeep wants to take care of my new Pirelli tires as a courtesy. Either would be cool - but I’d settle for them just shipping my damn car with some sort of priority instead of all these other Wagoneers built weeks after mine…

I'd take the new added $$$ of a few more K. Swap out the rims for the black pocket noise reducing ones (yeah, missed that on the order). Bottom line, starting month 5, and knowing it is sitting 1.5 hours from my house and has been for weeks... I'm thinking about this for the coming Friday night beverages. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

For giggles I just mapped out the distance from the holding lot where my GWS3 is 'hiding' and the dealership lot. 70.2 miles, 1 hr 26 minutes drive. 🧐 Why do we torture ourselves like this? Oh, because I just got that popular 'I have no status', status message. At least that's an improvement, it's been several weeks with nothing.

I have news!!! I won't be peacefully protesting today. I'm not a peaceful person what can I say.

Huge shout out to our friend @Dwagoneer. Apparently on the Facebook group there's a guy at a dealer who said tracking is back up and is trying to help people find their order statuses. WCS and my dealer are still in the dark, by the way. I'm not on Facebook so @Dwagoneer was kind enough to shoot over my VIN to him. Well! Much to my surprise, my Grand Wagoneer arrived via train in Chicago this morning and was promptly picked up by the assigned car carrier - Facebook dude even was able to provide the name of the carrier. I looked the car carrier up and was able to track it on their website; it was picked up at 8:39 AM this morning and has a scheduled delivery at my dealer at 11:00 AM tomorrow!

I shot all of this over to the dealer to try to get confirmation and they were quite surprised. They still can't see anything and can't confirm any of it with their corporate contact. Neither can WCS. I'm still KZ to everyone with no update since 3/24. I called the car carrier just for confirmation. Gal on the phone says they’re in possession of the vehicle. I question everything at this point so my inner millennial ended up coming out: “okay girl but like do you have it, have it? Like if you stretched out your arms could you touch it?” She actually didn't miss a beat and replied "yes, we have it, have it." 😂 😂 I'm sure she hung up the phone and had some colorful words for the whackjob she just spoke to but that's besides the point.

I'm loading up my rims and the plan is to drive them down tomorrow so they can be there to be installed during the delivery prep. If the carrier's date/time holds out, I kind hope to be there around the time they drop it off. "Quiet" is not a word anyone can use when describing me. Any customers fortunate/unfortunate enough to be there will enjoy the show when I see it for the first time LOL.

My dealer just called! The GS3 just arrived on their lot! Naturally, my salesperson is off tomorrow so I can’t pick it up until Friday, but so excited!!

Ok…I have been MIA for 10 days. Turns out babies can come early, and this one almost came in our brand new GW 😳😳. We seriously were heading out the door and opted to wait for EMS instead. Turned out to be a wise decision otherwise I might have been selling my brand new, highly anticipated midnight sky blue baby as “slightly pre owned” then ordering a new one 😂😂 (shuttering at the thought of getting back in line for one)

Anyway, I think I’m caught up.

Well, I ran my rims to the dealer today. Coincidentally I timed it right around the time I knew the car carrier would be there. Oh is it 11 AM? Well since I’m here I may as well wait…

It’s beautiful! It’s filthy in the pictures but I’ll update those once it’s all done and detailed. So the carrier driver gets it unloaded and walks up to the owner of the dealer for a signature. He picks up the pen and then looks at me: “Would you like to sign for it?” Would I like to sign for it? What a dumb question. That’s like asking if I enjoy watching stupid people fall down flights of stairs. Of course I want to sign for it. He made a copy of that to stick with my window sticker. It’s corny I know but I like that shit. Then I got to unwrap it - there weren’t any air bubbles to pop which is always a bummer but it was enjoyable.

They are a crap ton of updates and TSBs that need to be done. Unfortunately I’m not looking at taking delivery until this weekend or early next week which is fine. I drove it around and parked it in one of the bays for the techs and it drove like a dream.

Also, WCS still has zero clue that the car is even there. The dealer only knew it was coming because I told them it was coming. It’s still KZ to everyone LOL. Kinda sad but it’s finally here so I’m done caring!
