Wow, somebody’s up late:
This is why I am confused.... why are they telling half the people they can't get a status and I keep getting them.... This email was the 25th... it arrived at my dealer yesterday... picking up today ordered 3/7!!!!!

"Good Evening,
At this time we show your vehicle moved to the final stage and has been approved for shipping. Currently the vehicle is not yet in transit so we do not have an eta we can provide at this time.
I will continue to monitor and provide updates. I will followup on 5/2.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. "

Was the dealer able to give you any sort of update or is the “system” down for them too? I try to not check CarGurus, AutoTrader, etc. but I can’t help myself. There are a lot of dealer stock units built after ours that show up on the lot. I honestly believe they’re just throwing random cars into the railcars in no particular order.
I’ve said it before but when we ordered our JLU 392 last year we got on with a guy that was tracking 3500+ VINs for all wranglers and JLUs. I shit you not, after tracking colors, options, etc., they were NEVER able to discern a pattern. Guys that ordered 392s week 1 of ordering we’re getting them 200+ days out. Others with identical specs were getting them in 9 weeks. They cross referenced dealers, high volume, low volume etc. The amount of data points was CRAZY. And still is. And now they are adding the 392 Recon edition and it’s a cluster.

I’m sure it makes sense in their world, but it makes no sense in any other world, except maybe that of Elon Musk. 😂

I can’t help but feel like our cars will arrive before their system is back up. In 2022, isn’t it pretty bad that some IT system is down for this long? I mean we’re in week three of the system being down.

Hopefully it’s because we all pushed Paige and Evelyn back to the bottle and they spilled some on a cord or something 😂

Everything that I’ve heard is that it’s not “Stellantis,” it’s their 3rd party shipper. So if they’re like the gov’t and went with the lowest bidder, it’s not surprising to me at all that the company didn’t have the best computer infrastructure and remains down. If you ever watched “Shipping Wars” you can see where some of these shippers will undercut.

Hell, I wouldn’t even be completely shocked if we found out the shipper was tracking shipments on a single excel spreadsheet that the CEOs toddler erased by accessing Excel on his iPad. 🤣

I just called WCS to check on my homies over there and who picked up, you wonder? PAIGE. I really tried hard to not sound like someone Lifetime would make a movie about when I said “thee Paige?!” I told her she was really popular in the forums and that we appreciate her perfect grammar - she told me I was the second person to tell her that. 😂😂

Their system is still down but she did say vehicles are still moving; they just aren’t getting status updates.

I gave our gal a 10 on her survey.

I decided to try the Jeep Wagoneer Customer Care Chat session. They asked for everything twice, then proceeded to tell me I need to work with my Dealer, they can't help. I didn't give a 10. 🤪

Exactly! Although I'm going to be down in Dallas for a conference (Market Disruptors Live if anyone is curious) so I'm hoping my GWS3 will be waiting for me when I get home with my head full of fresh new investment strategies ready to conquer the world. :cool:

I found a link that will provide a small bit of help those of us awaiting status for our vehicles. It is the Dealer Notification welcome page. It has a banner mentioning the system issues and it is where the updates saying the status system is back on line will be posted. Not much, but at least it allows us to finally see if Dealers should have visibility back from the system. Like I said, a small bit of info, at this point I'll take it. Dealer Connect Welcome page-FCA Group is the link. Here is part of the current banner, it shows one system is back up as of today. Our status board though, still down. Since they fixed one system already, maybe our VOIM VIN Track application will be back soon!! Fingers crossed! 🤞

Fingers and toes crossed! I’ll keep hoping my car randomly shows up without warning in the meantime. In a way, not having someone be able to tell me concretely that my car is still sitting there collecting dust allows me sit here blissfully ignorant. Lalalalalalalala

Well I just had WCS escalate my case to management today. We’ll see what that does if anything.

My dealer is trying to get some answers with their rep from corporate. Not sure if they can speed this along but they’re trying to get me an additional discount voucher or seeing if Jeep wants to take care of my new Pirelli tires as a courtesy. Either would be cool - but I’d settle for them just shipping my damn car with some sort of priority instead of all these other Wagoneers built weeks after mine…

Approaching my 6 month order mark 😬
