I got some inside info today. My vehicle was built on 2/26, however was put on hold due to a HVAC software issue (along with every other Wagoneer/GW built end of Feb through Mid March. Yours, along with about 5800 others were upated and released during the last week of March. Your vehicle was moved from a storage facility to a shipping yard in Detroit, MI on 4/6. It's next leg is a railcar (train) from that particular shipping yard to FL then trucked to the dealer.

So I’m guessing another month, minimum. But it’s more than Paige was telling me!
Great info! Sounds like we were all affected by this and the timeline sure does make sense. I was built on 03/02 but the window sticker wasn't available until towards the end of the month with a 03/28 build date on it. Today is day 138 since ordering for me.

I shouldn’t complain since I’m only on day 109.
Where is the build date on the window sticker. I received my revised VIN and found my window sticker but couldn’t locate that build date.

It’s above the barcode on the bottom. Not sure what the final number means. It’s probably the number of times I called for an update before noon that day.

That's your alleged build date. Your actual build date will show a final build date on the sticker located on the driverside door jam.
Mine showed on sticker 2/18/22; however, on the door jam, it showed the final build date 2/22/22.

Very interesting. I'm curious to see what that will say. My build date per my dealer was 3/2/2022.

So I went to pick up the car with husband. Got a tour of it and while we were waiting to finish signing the papers I had to leave to get the kids off the bus. The dealer was bummed I didn't get to stay to see all the features but we will figure it out as we go lol. My husband just want3d to get home. My build date on the door just says the month and year it was built, so it says 03-22. It was raining yesterday here so I didn't snap a picture but I got on this morning. We only drove it to dinner last night but it was wonderful to drive!

The GW3 with this window sticker build date of 3/15 was delivered to Kentucky by 4/2/22. Yes, I’m data mining the Facebook groups foolishly trying to find correlation to drive myself crazy lol

Still here in KZLD with no ETA 😫

I made an error (wrong) in judgment on the manufacturing date. After looking at my door jam, I concur with Ccarter2686 mine shows 2-22. Confused; nevertheless, I am.

I’m with you. I constantly look on CarGurus and AutoTrader, sorting by newest listings and then lookup their window stickers. Then I watch for when dealer pictures show up and/or it shows on the lot on the dealer’s website. Not sure this helps anything as I then get really bitter when it does show up and secretly (not so secretly) hate whoever buys it LOL.

Same status as yours. Got a Paige update this morning; no changes to report. Today is day 17 of waiting to ship for me.

I hear you lol!

Do you see any general pattern between build date and delivery date? There’s too many variables and nuances, based on my research, and I use the term loosely, I feel like the delivery should be 2-3 weeks under current circumstances

I do. Based on my research it can take anywhere from 2-60+ days for delivery 😂 😭.

There doesn't seem to be any particular rhyme or reason to it but I would say I see delivery happen within 30 days or so of the date on the sticker the majority of the time. I've been reading any post with "KZ" on it from any Stellantis brand forum I can find and these delays seem to be company-wide. There are some people in the Wrangler forums who are on week 8 of KZ and others who get their vehicles really quick with no delay. Same thing in the Ram forums. It does seem like when the actual shipping process happens they're moved and arrive pretty quick. What's really annoying is seeing dealer stock models going through the build process, shipping, and arriving before ours. I know they say sold orders are prioritized but this whole process is so disorganized to the point I don't think they really are. My dealer has a GWIII in their showroom that has been sitting there since the first week in December. It showed up 6 weeks after they ordered it which gave me a lot of hope early on.

The first four numbers correspond with the date it was released for shipping. Have now confirmed with multiple sources, including the match between the numbers in my window sticker and when mine was released from the HVAC Just Sitting status.

Basically, it’s the date that the build plant releases it, prints the sticker and says ”our work here is done. Shipping, she’s all yours.”

After looking online and reading from various sources and comparing my window sticker, which showed 0218-0, and comparing the door jam safety certification label, which listed MDH 021709, I concluded that my vehicle was actually built on 2/17/22 at 9 am. The Safety Certification label is required by federal law. So if you want to find your actual build date and time, wait till your vehicle arrives and check your safety certification label located on the door jam. Check by looking at the lower right of the label for the words MDH.

At least it is certain, it was built on a Thursday and not a Mon/Fri. 🥳

Today I got a wonderful email from Best Regards. Anyone else get a no status change from 'Best Regards'? Oh, and my email address was a CC, not in the actual To line. How sweet...

I can't figure out why they (you) are in a holding pattern with your vehicle. Maybe a call to the salesman or perhaps a phone call to GM at the dealership and get to the bottom of the holdup. Dear Juan, letters I truly dislike.

Yes!! I got a Thursday built. At 875 miles, Pattys is smoking the pavement!

Can't figure it out either, wondering if the Dealer was invoiced but hasn't coughed up the dough-ray-me yet. They ordered a GW Series 1 similar to mine, same color scheme, etc. so they should have covered both. Funny thing, dealership shows both vehicles as if they are on the lot. No special 'In Transit' or 'Being Built' was ever done. Just boom, two GWs showed up on the site.

Mid Atlantic area has so many CDJR dealerships in a 100 mile radius you couldn't swing a cowboy rope (yes I typed sometime else first) without hitting one. So loading up the train car and/or car carrier can't be that slow. Sigh...

875 miles of fun already? A W E S O M E ! And is that a name change or typo? Either way, knew you would need new tires in about 2k miles. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I am eagerly awaiting my Tuesday night no status change email as well. At least there was an apology for the delay😂. My dealership and sales person has still not been able to get any information from the Stellantis.

I started to browse for some new shoes for Patty just in case. A week or so ago, it was raining hard here. So I let her loose on the highway, and at around 70ish, I started to feel hydroplaning on the front tires. So I backed off on speed and settled in at 55mph—no problems afterward in driving. Now I know what to expect when it is pouring outside.
On my former truck no problems with hydroplaning even at 75mph. It was never a problem getting out or driving around when we got snow or blizzard conditions.
I know this is different from my truck, so I'll test her (Patty) out in winter for snow traction at the Mall parking lot.;)
The mall kops. Daddy, He's at it again. That's some bum...:ROFLMAO:iu.jpeg
