Road Trip

Taking the wife and kids on a Wagoneer road trip from Northern Virginia to Universal and Disney World in Florida starting tomorrow. This trip was one of the reasons we pushed forward with the purchase of the Wagoneer so I hope it's a great experience. I'm definitely a bit nervous about a battery issue or some other glitch but so far things have been good since the day 1 battery replacement.

Congrats! Please let us know how it goes. We are contemplating doing something similar (also in VA). Are you planning any stops along the way?

Quick update during the trip. The ride down was excellent. Android auto only disconnected once or twice. We stopped in Savannah and stayed the night then day 2 we went to the alligator farm in St. Augustine before continuing to Universal.

That's where the good news ends and the fear begins. When we left the universal resort this morning to drive to Disney, the "Auto Emergency Brake", "Service 4wd", and service "transfer case" warnings all came on. It was still drivable but I am terrified of not being able to make it back home. Will see if the problems persist when I turn it back on when we leave magic kingdom in a few hours to head to our resort.

@ttutko - yikes. Sorry to hear this. I had similar issue last week (service 4wd system; and collision warning disabled warning lights) and was locked in 4low.

I called my servicing dealer who sent out a team and cleared codes and toggled the 4l back to auto and it appears to have been resolved (about 10 min sleuthing). See attached report from dealer.

Hope you find someone to help! I would be leery of driving that far with those warnings.
