Rear View Mirror With Rear Camera View

Started using this feature recently. Noticed that the view seems to be too white when the camera is exposed to a more direct sun view. It appears that the mirror screen does not have an auto white balance feature or if it does it is not working correctly. The owners manual does not address white balance adjustment. I currently have a service appointment to check on this but would like to hear from current owners.

Image has always looked washed out, I don't use it much, please update with what the dealer says

image is fine until direct sunlight into the camera. Also find it doesn't clean well all the time, might be the fluid being used in the washer system. I keep it on all the time, forced at first to do it, then found it better for me than the regular mirror use. Personal pref IMHO, do what works for your style.
