Having driven 2400 miles in sixty days, I've come across some quirks. Not much so far, but to be annoying to me.
On the driverside door panel, I have the touch memory for settings one and two. Having set my preferences, everything is AOK. However, when I clean or dress that area and gently wipe, I lose my setting and hear numerous tones. When l start her up later and press setting 1, everything reverts to the factory setting for seat memory for some smaller person. So, in essence, now I have to reset my preference for seating comfort. Patty does have a mind of her own.

I hate that the haptic buttons still work when the car is off....even cleaning the center console area is a chore, I can't not turn on my hazards every time. I'm sure there is a way to turn them off temporarily, but I'm not that smart (yet)

I too set off hazard flashing when cleaning also. I don’t think we can disable that button unless a fuse is pulled. I did stumble on good advice from the manufacturer when I mounted my screen protector on 4 screens. They use baby wash and water In a small spray bottle. So when screens and dash are dusty or have fingerprint smudges I use a 1-gallon bucket and a squirt of 1 teaspoon of baby wash, warm water with a small microfiber rag. Removes a multitude of sin per se and I don’t have to rise.

Yeah, I have already started the issue with the memory seats too, the wife didn't even realize she had touched a memory button (mem 2 used by my best friend). She's 4'10", he's 6'2". One of the reasons I was happy to jump into the GW3, believe it or not, was the two of them grumbling about 'don't they know I own this seat?'. Ugh, did I hear it on the accidental touching of those buttons while trying to adjust the seat, all before she could save. The fun of 1st world problems... After all, mine works fine. :ROFLMAO:

Now to watch out for cleaning doing a reset, that's a B--ch. I sure hope once all primary issues in the SW get cleared up, hopefully with June's release, they can start doing fixes like this, having a cleaning mode soft button in UConnect, etc. First things first I guess.

I like your idea about a setting (Uconnect) for interior cleaning mode and turning off certain functions. They have it for tire changing and brake release.

Quirks went wild, So I started up the vehicle, sitting (not moving). I'm on the home page listening to the dead and want to go to media to listen to my songs on USB, but UConnect has other ideas like "let's make him work for it." 1st press on Media Patty says media and nothing happens, 2nd press Patty says media, and again nothing happens. I'm now thinking, OK, Patty 3rd; time is the charm, and BINGO, I'm in. Oh, I forgot to mention, while pressing the media button, the volume goes up, and the volume goes down again. Not a lot in volume, but noticeable. Back to the radio manual for me.

I noticed something in mine as well on quirks. If I start it using the cell app, the AC system goes nuts. Turns itself off. Turn it on, the Sync button starts flickering, it goes on and off, auto, then manual, etc. Using the manual buttons doesn't help very much, keeps it on full blast for a while. Turn the whole vehicle off, then use the fob to start, all works fine all day long. Just the use of the Smartphone App causes it to go nuts. At least so far, I have over 500 now and will keep trying different combos of UConnect functions to see what else may be on the flakey side.

We may want to start isolating if things go weird on App use or just simple Fob startup. Could be another issue on how the system takes in info from the Cellular network (gee, that could never happen, right?). 😁

Those terms of service from AT&T, Uconnect, FCA, and SiriusXM are all intertwined using vehicle data. I read a couple of them, and I suspect there is a line code conflict somewhere in the software of all of them or just one. But if you make a BooBoo o_O under some code writer's breath is saying "Oh Boy" or "Sugar, Honey, Ice, Tea" :poop: it's canceling out one function and creating system-wide havoc. ;)
