Issues with the Wagoneer technology

I purchased a 2022 Jeep Wagoneer 3 series in December. I have taken it in for them to address the issue of my phone not staying connected to the Android Auto today (17 January 2022). To add my whole dashboard froze up during our recent trip from NC. The service department at the dealership tells me that it is a software issue or my new Galaxy Z fold 3 phone isn't compatible with the Wagoneer technology. I have read others posts on here in regards to their phones not staying connected also. I guess it is all phones. Or is it the Wagoneer software? Which is it? Their software or my cellphone? I am really perturbed having these issues so soon after purchase. This is just too much money on this vehicle and to have these issues already.... I am having issues with the charging pad charging my phone as well. The light turns blue once I lay my phone on it. Then 3 seconds later it turns red and stops charging.

It's not your phone! It's Android Auto. You can connect your phone and not connect Android Auto and it will work perfectly. I do expect a fix soon as all features of my very expensive vehicle should work seemlessly.

Its the software in the uconnect system. My system freezes and wont allow me to connect to rear media through the main screen on my Grand Wagoneer Series III. My service department at my dealer has been amazing at working on things with there tech crew. There is supposed to be a software rollout come March or a little earlier i guess but we will see. I will be asking for some compensation from my dealer or chrysler regarding this as the money spent to have the issues is nuts. Dont let them tell you its anything new either. We have a 2021 Dodge Durango SRT with the new unconnect system as well that was doing the same thing. Ended up changing the whole radio/hardware as well as many software things just a month ago

I have felt with something similar but have got a lot of help from the concierge. Now my iPhone 12pro max works fine, I’m having issues with the steering cluster displaying the map , my parking break red warning light next to the gas wont turn off, and the touch sensors for cooled and heated seats are responsive

We have a Wagoneer Series III. The Uconnect system crashes when using any form of navigation, and several features don't function as they should. We have had a Wagoneer engineer inspect our vehicle while it was at our dealer to try to determine the root cause. We have been told to expect an over the air update to the uConnect system end of 1st quarter of 2022. Our driver's seat heating element also has a bad short. It will turn on and heat up extremely hot quickly, and then turns off due to over heating within 2-3 minutes. The forward parking assist sensors are faulty and have never worked right. We love the vehicle despite it's flaws, but at this price point these are issues we shouldn't have to deal with.
 
Couldn’t agree more with Bartlem! Struggled with issues like this on my Jaguar iPace until I finally ditched the vehicle for a MB GLE. Jeep desperately needs to acknowledge software issues and prepare us for an OTA. Communication is essential. Really can’t understand the loss of CarPlay signals and re-booting…

I have the same problem with my IPhone 13. I have deleted the phone added it back reset the radio and even tried using the cable. Apple car play does not work. It worked at the dealer and started to fail on the way home from the dealer. Since I bought a GW Series III I was under the impression I would at least be given a similar vehicle while they troubleshoot however the dealer doesn’t have any for a loaner. Very disappointed so far.
We never get a Wagoneer as a loaner either. 🙄

I have had my wagoneer less than a week. Apple car play constantly disconnects. Weather will not load. No live traffic on navigation even though settings are correct. Super frustrating considering the cost of this car.
 
Same problems here. Apple Carplay is spotty at best. Everything just seems slow. Buttons are slow. Pages load slow. Touches are slow. I'm praying an update to the UConnect system comes soon and fixes a lot of these issues.
