Installed Obsidian Badging

So after I got black wheels, I figured I needed something besides the roof to tie it in, so I ordered the black/silver badges. Not a fun process installing them, but I'm pleased with the results. I can share part numbers if anyone is interested. Was about 200 total shipped.

I actually like the contrast with the silver around the windows, etc, so this gave me what I was looking for! Word to the wise get a whizzy wheel if you ever decide to tackle this!

Clearly I posted this in the wrong category. So my apologies to all the folks with a proper Wagoneer lol. I cant move this but mods if you can that would be awesome. This place is dead so nobody will ever see this anyway

😆 I guess you got a lot of DMs? I like the contrast, and yeah, I think it looks great with the black roof. Like you said, ties it all together. And knowing the lower panels are chrome/black instead of the reflecting tan coloring, I know it blends well with the wheels too. Nice one!

Question for you @FamilyTruckster : you mentioned using a whizzy wheel, how does that work with raised letters made of metal? I get the vinyl lettering, etc. that it removes. Wouldn't it rip the door/metal with raised letters? Maybe you found vinyl or tape under them? Not having ripped anything off my ride yet, on purpose or more likely with me, by accident 😅 I'm not sure what it would be used for in this situation.
I Love to learn!

So you heat up the stock emblems first with a heat gun, pop them off and use the whizzy wheel to clean up all the crap that's left underneath when you take them off. It's a godsend!

Ah, thought it might be along those lines... Just had me scratching my head (and not my ride) for a bit. 😁 Thanks!
