Since they didn't go into detail about the drivetrain on this model, I would hope they start with a 5.7 l Hemi, then have a 6.4 l Hemi as an option, and

Personally, I would love to see a 5.7L HEMI with an electrified powertrain that way we get a huge boost to the hemi and can tow. Because I heard somewhere that this thing is going to be able to pull up to 10,000 Pounds. Even an electrified penstar powertrain would not be able to pull that much. It needs a HEMI

The 5.7-liter with eTorque is a mild-hybrid. As for powertrains, stay tuned we have big news this Saturday on MoparInsiders

Great Write up you did on the 25th about the features coming to the Grand Wagoneer. What I meant by electrification was like a PHEV system but with a HEMI lol. One can dream I guess...

Unfortunately no. The HEMI will not be offered with the upcoming PHEV powertrain

The all-new GME-T6 engine will be coming in the Wagoneer this fall
I haven't heard of any catastrophic failures in terms of their Inline 4 in the Cherokee. I may just be apprehensive about a newer powertrain. I am one that will keep a vehicle until the wheels fall off.

I also would like to say, I do enjoy your writeups a lot I cant wait for the next bit of Wagoneer news

Should be one smooth powertrain.
