Hearing shipping has started

Not yet. A bunch have been built but are sitting in storage without being shipped for unknown reasons.

I hope Jeep gets its act together regarding the delivery of the new Grand Wagoneer. So far, it has been nothing but missed deadlines and misinformation. My new Series III was supposed to be delivered 8/20, then 8/22, then 8/25, then 8/27, and today I learned it is now 9/12/2021. When I ordered a Porsche, I knew where the vehicle was every step of the way, including Germany. Same with two Range Rovers. Jeep can't charge these prices with this level of customer service.

Totally agree, and I have expressed the same thing to the Wagoneer concierge.

My dealer stated the following

“…Goodmorning Alfredo,

Its telling me an estimated ship date of 9/4 . Sometimes that changes but thats where were at right now…”

my shipping date was originally slated for 7/25/21. didnt ship then and hasnt provided an update yet. My dealer and the jeep.com chat folks have confirmed i am in 'I' status. Awaiting final inspection. Been that way for 4 weeks now....ordered early march.

Stellantis' lack of communication to those of us that have built Wagoneers sitting in storage without giving us any idea why they aren't being shipped is disturbing. Not a great way to show they care.

Well gang the Jeep “concierge” is a joke. I am debating on just taking back my deposit and getting an Escalade
That is what I did. Cancelled my SIII order and picked up a loaded up Escalade Sport Duramax. 9 weeks and 4200 miles later I couldn't be happier. Love this thing. Just couldn't deal with the lack of info on the GW, concierge was an absolute joke, my dealer was clearly going to treat me the same as a Dodge Journey owner. So far all I have seen is great marketing and terrible execution and broken promises. And then I just couldn't get over the look of the GW from the back. Maybe I will come back in a few years and give the GW a try. Still lurking here because I want to hear about people's experiences when they finally start driving these things.

I can't say I blame you, and agree with everything you said. Just wish that Caddy could tow 10k, and I would be right there with you.

Agree... I wish teh tow rating was a little higher. My boat is 7500, so it works and tows really well (and I get 14mpgs towing which is awesome)

Well, I know design is a personal taste thing, but the look of the new Escalade is just off. It is soft, the side is bland, and the front is a mess, the headlights are really too small for that grill, or maybe the grill just too big.
Sure the Wagoneer is not perfect, but for me both the Wagoneer and the Lincoln look better then the escalade.

Read escalade forums before you do that.
Mine has been flawless... 4300 miles in 9 weeks. Some people have a few "first year" issues, mostly software related. The biggest issue isn't Escalade specific, it is a lift issue on all v8 GM motors. I have the Duramax, so no concerns on that one. By the time the GW shows up at dealers I might have enough miles on mine to justify trading it in and trying the GW.
