Heads Up Display

Does anyone know if the entire HUD projector can be adjusted in the dash? We picked up our Wagoneer on Monday. After going through all of the setup, and moving the image to its highest position in the settings, it is still too low in the windshield to be of much use. I actually have to roll my head downward to see the information. It’s the same for my wife (5’-8”) and me and my sons (6’-2” to 6’-5”). We may be a bit tall, but this just seems wrong. I don’t remember this being an issue when we were test driving, but that was four months ago before we placed our order.

@John74 You might be able to get more insight from anyone in this thread, people all 6'3" and taller. They seemed OK with how things lined up, might have some insights for you.

I thought the same thing when I was driving home for the first time. Once I got my seat where I was comfortable I found the HUD height adjustment, raised it to the max, and it seemed like it made it worse. I then tried lowering it quite a bit and that did the trick. I’ve had mine set to 3 and it’s been perfect for me. It seemed logical to me to choose a higher number and raise it but no. Try lowering it and seeing if that helps. I’m 6’3”.

We turned it down to 1 and that seemed to do the trick for the giants in my family. Seemed counterintuitive, sort of like the climate hard buttons under the main display. I think it was in the settings menus that cycle through on the steering wheel?

Thanks everyone, that did the trick! Kind of counterintuitive, but the lowest setting of one puts it in a great view at my height and seat setting. Feel kind of silly, it was at five when we picked it up and out of view at the bottom part of my line of sight, so naturally I bumped it up to ten.

I'm 6'4" and have no issues with the front legroom or headroom. I certainly don't have the seat all the way back. I have had to move the pedals in to their most inward position or it would cause me to bend my leg too much to use...but other than a few simple adjustments, I have no complaints with how it sits. HUD has been good too... easy to adjust and I can see it clearly. Just don't use polarized sunglasses! It wipes out the display!
