GW3 May order

That's encouraging, thanks! Man, that sucks about getting sent back to D1, why did that happen?

They haven't said, and I doubt they'll ever tell me. All I know is that I was in JS from Sept 2nd till Oct 14th. Mine, along with probably a few hundred others (I know of several that my dealership told me about) apparently had an issue that was deep enough to warrant them building us another vehicle. Concierge offered up no specific reason other than being in JS status does not necessarily mean the vehicle has been finished.

Oct. 27th, 2021: still at D1 status, the estimated shipping date has been pushed back three days from 11/02/2021 to 11/05/2021.
Oct. 28th, 2021: Local dealership called to give me the same update on my vehicle that concierge gave yesterday. Though they said that realistically from what they have been seeing, they would expect that it is likely not going to ship until the 2nd or 3rd week of November, as opposed to the 5th. The dealership has another unit that they have ordered for the dealership which was a few weeks ahead of mine and the status on that is KZM (first rail departure), with an estimated arrival time at the dealership of Nov. 1st - 9th. So at least at that point, there will be one to go look at in person.

Super interesting, hopefully, that doesn't mean anything bad down the road in terms of recalls for the units that do go out.

Nov. 2nd, 2021: Wagoneer client services sent their update email, nothing had changed, still at D1 status with an estimated ship date of Nov 5th. On the same day, the local dealership called and said that a Wagoneer had arrived that they had ordered for the dealership, so we stopped by and took a look at it, and took it for a test drive. I don't know what the package options were, but it was a Wagoneer and not a Grand Wagoneer. I thought that it drove very nice, and was pretty impressed with the vehicle overall. Although the infotainment did seem to be a little buggy. I could not get the wireless charging station to work on my iPhone 12 mini. Also, for some reason, once I adjusted the ride height to the max I could not get it to come back down, but maybe I was doing something wrong. Definitely glad that the headliner in the Grand Wagoneer is supposed to be different, as the material that was in the Wagoneer seemed a little cheap. The visors, and the gray plastic that is on the console (where the wood is in the Grand Wagoneer) also felt a little cheap. But overall I thought it was very nice, and drove very well.

Nov. 5th, 2021: I called the concierge for an update, they said still at D1 status but that the estimated ship date has been pushed back to Nov. 18th.

Mine started getting built on the 25th and finished on the 29th. I was in I status until the 3rd, when I finally went to KZ. My GW S1 is OTW to me and should arrive around the 14th.

I can't wait!!

Just hang in there. Another person, waiting on his GW S3 that went through the same ordeal as I did, finally started getting built on the 4th. They're slowly getting them knocked out and shipped.

Yup, there seems to be a LOT of GW's that were built, sent to storage, and are now not going to ship anytime soon. They aren't being very forthcoming about why, only saying it's "due to supply issues." I was also told that a vehicle in JS status does not necessarily mean it is ready to ship.

I found out Sun that one of the guys whose GW S3 was sitting in storage, no longer had his name on the order. He had a completely new POC, complete with a whole new VIN.

Yesterday, I found out the same thing happened to my GW S1.

Both of us, and others we have heard from, are all the way back to D1 status. The concierge actually called me this morning to talk to me about this, which was odd, as I never ordered through the concierge. I ordered mine through a dealership. She told me they were sorry for the inconvenience, but they were working hard at getting the issue rectified, and I should see my vehicle next month.

Stellantis seriously needs to work on their communication with customers and their dealers. This has probably been the worst new vehicle roll out I have ever seen. The fact these are supposed to be luxury vehicles makes it even worse. No way would Cadillac or Mercedes treat one of their customers like this.
@Jason - I agree with your assessment that the communication with customers is extremely poor and the dealers are ill-informed. I guess a $100K is no longer enough to buy satisfaction.

Hi! I ordered a GW3 May 9, 2021. I was given a “D” status in July with an “end of August” delivery date. VIN also confirmed. Come end of August, D1 status update, date was moved to end of September. End of September came, back to D status with no known build date or delivery date. VERY frustrating.
I had a vin on 5/21/21. It's been intransit according to the dealer. Costumer service says it is release for delivery but has not been picked up. They say they will call me if anything changes.
I'm at the seven month mark. Soon I get a hitch to pull a 3,000 pound trailer with my 2020 Chrysler 300C. I'll use

I'll use S to keep the revs up. I can blow up a dozen transmissions with the money I saved.
