Does the GW 3 have built in WiFi or do you have to purchase a data device?

I don’t have my GW yet but I believe it comes with 3 months or 1 GB data from AT&T. After the trial period you have to contact AT&T for a data plan.

It has WiFi built-in, and it's linked only to AT&T. If you sign up with them, you get 22gig then throttled after using up 22gig data. Verizon doesn't offer anything at all since I checked this week. You will have to use your cell phone data if you want to be connected using either Bluetooth or cable.

Not a fan of AT&T.

It is. You just need to mount it somewhere and connect to power. Ther rear screens will connect to whatever wifi you set them to.

I have the ATT coverage and my kids use their tablets constantly, no issues past what we deal with our Verizon phone service.
