Battery Drain Recall

Has anyone else experienced the amplifier battery drain problem? Real bummer to spend $100k on a vehicle and have to jump start it three times in the first month. Now it is apparently a known issue for which there is a recall. It's still in the dealership, so I will have to report back later on whether they get it fixed the first time.

Yep just joined the club. Amp drained my battery at 450mi. Been in the shop twice and now longer in theirs than than in my own possession! Dealership didn’t know of the recall the first go around. Oh well, figured it comes with the territory when you buy the first year of a new model. Still love’n the new Wrangler tho!

I experienced the battery drain in November shortly after we took possession. Caused numerous trouble codes. Dealership fixed it with software flash and new battery (2nd new battery since it arrived at the dealership). No further issues with THIS problem for us.

My wagoneer 3 recently died, the battery had 3 2 volts. Wasn't able to get a loaner on Sunday customer service blamed me for it happening on mother's day. Now it's in the shop and I would believe it is because of the power step recall. Hopefully they fix it.

Darn.

I do have to ask, does anyone in that department understand the irony of 'Customer Service' and how they act? Seem to be 'serving' up a bunch of ugly IMHO. The customer may not always be right, but they are ALWAYS the Customer. Until you push them away that is...
