7 VS 8 Passenger Seating...

I know there has been a bunch of people asking what will the Grand Wagoneer look like if you opt for a second-row bench seat. Well here is a good picture of it. Touchscreen comfort controls move down to the back of the front row center console.

Maybe the possibility of 9 passenger seating if they eventually offer this as a for lack of a better example...Tradesman trim.

Gorgeous interior.

The GW's monstrous 2nd row center console is a deal breaker for me with kids. Absolutely closes off the interior and makes the entire interior feel cramped. Really wanted the GW, but settling for the regular Wagoneer because it's the only option of 2nd row captain seats (7 passenger) without a center console. Tahoes/Yukons/Escalades and Expeditions/Navigators all have a 2nd row center console delete option (aka "pass through") on all trim levels. Definitely recommend you look at and compare the interiors of a GW with a Wagoneer before you pull the trigger. I think it's a night and day difference.

p.s. the Grand Cherokee L also suffers from this issue. Only the base models have no 2nd row console, if you want the upper models, you have to get it.

Anyone have pictures of how the center section is bolted down? I know in the older expeditions you could remove the center section pretty quickly for pass through to back
