3000 Mile Update

I thought I would give a quick update on my New Grand Wagoneer Series III. I just hit 3,000 miles and so far really enjoying the new ride. The video monitors in the back have worked great for passengers being able to watch Netflix or whatever they would like. The drivers side monitor is nice but my wife has not really wanted to use it much. Thank goodness I've not had the issues that I've read about here on the forum, and hopefully everyone gets a quick resolution. I also received the OTA update that others have posted on here, but did not see any real change to anything. I've enjoyed the wireless Android, for things like Waze, and while there is a delay in it hooking up when you first get in the vehicle (about 20 seconds) assuming this is the same for most cars. I've never had wireless Android before, but it's not a huge deal. It does disconnected every once and a while while driving, which is frustrating, but not a huge issue. My phone is an Samsung Fold 3.

I have found after a couple car washes there are several places on the Wagoneer that like to hold water, and it feels like it continually drips. That's only frustrating when your trying to dry the car off and water keeps dribbling down the side. :) I have found that the back up camera a night is a little dimmer than most of the other vehicles I've had, but no big deal and very manageable.

Happy New Year to everyone, and keep those posts coming in- I certainly enjoy reading them.

After washing, I always like to go over it real quick with a leaf blower before drying, there’s always some stubborn spots.

Glad to read your comments. I usually dry the car in the sun after every wash. In the meantime I will sip a cup of coffee. Of course I always wash my car on a sunny day
