2022 Jeep® Grand Wagoneer (WS) Models Are Now Starting To Arrive At Dealers!

The Escalade & Navigator Fighter, Is Finally Here...

It's been just a couple of weeks that we started to see the initial batches of 2022 Jeep® Wagoneer (WS) arriving on dealer lots across the country. The all-new Wagoneer builds on almost 30-years of heritage, premium American craftsmanship, and refinement in a true full-size SUV package offering a new level of comfort and legendary 4x4 capability. However, absent from the new WS lineup arriving on dealer lots was the more ultra-premium offering - the Grand Wagoneer.

From the pictures in your article and others that I've seen delivered, the Series I Grand Wagoneer don't have a stitched steering wheel airbag cover, however, the build and price tool on the Jeep Website shows that they should. I don't see anything in the comparison feature that shows it would be different than the Series II. Also, the media reviews with Series I (Edmunds video on YouTube) also shows the Series I as having a stitched airbag cover. So which is it? Did Jeep cheap out on us and remove this feature at the last minute? Very disappointed if so because I carefully compared the options/differences between the Series I and II before placing my custom order which now may not show up as I had expected.

Has anyone found any other inconsistencies?

***Update***

I just got a response from Wagoneer Concierge about this issue. See attached email response below. So are the Grand Wagoneer Series 1's that have been delivered so far without the sticking all been made incorrectly? I guess if mine shows up without a stitched steering wheel airbag cover I have ammo to call foul. And yes, I know we're just talking about a measly airbag cover here, but right is right, and wrong is wrong.
