Forgot to mention that this is apparently a known issue as there is an alert to the dealers that this may be happening. The service tech mentioned this to us.

Minor update, WCS wouldn't help us change the loaner car. We called today, but said we had to wait until Monday for our rep to return to the office LOL. What a joke
Thank you so much! Yes, this issue is likely something with the actual motor as it isn't dependent on whether the car is in motion. My father-in-law said it almost sounded like something came loose in the motor, but again, we aren't mechanics.
