Threw another coat of 26 on the body yesterday and did the wheels, a sealant would have been a better choice but I wanted the carnuba shine for the next few days lol
I'm not down with ceramic.
I almost always hand wash at home, but I will use the touchless one from time to time and then come home and finish it up with a detail spray.
I had a GC SRT with the 6.4 and used the mobil euro formula for years, zero issues at all, that's my preferred oil and easy attainable (and cheap on sale)
This was courtesy of chemical guys citrus wash in a foamer, griots foaming tire cleaner, 3D tire shine, and a touchup with Blackfire All in one followed by meguiars 26 paste. Spot touch with beadmaker.
I had the Michelin ones from Costco on a previous car, they weren't bad but not great. I'll agree on Bosch, I have the best ones on my wife's car and I actually think they stink.
Probably a combo of things. I'd venture to guess most people in the market for these arent "modders" which contributes to the lack of forum discussion, that and the aftermarket is basically non existent for this car.
I went out of my way to go to a "certified" dealer, they had no loaner for me even though client services said they would arrange, I had to argue to borrow a base model compass. It's complete BS.
I love the car, but they're gonna lose the crowd if they treat 100k+ buyers like this.
My guess would be they'd need to remove the emblems, unless they wrap around them. I replaced my emblems and it's a PITA, it would be next to impossible to reuse the emblems you take off unless you have infinite patience
So you heat up the stock emblems first with a heat gun, pop them off and use the whizzy wheel to clean up all the crap that's left underneath when you take them off. It's a godsend!
I'm a detail nut, always have been. Easy detail here washed with CG citrus, cleaned tires with Griots foaming tire cleaner, dressed with Gyeon. Did a full correction when I got the car, so used blackfire one step applied by machine followed by Jescar Powerlock, then Meguiars 26 paste on top...
