Rear Lift Gate - Trim Alignment

My wife (eagle eyes) pointed out - while we were in Service yesterday sleuthing the U-Connect failures - that the rear lift gate - right side - trim does NOT line up.....and is off by 1/8" of an inch or so.

Lo' and behold we look at the one in the dealer showroom - precisely the same.

Now that I see it - it bugs me.

Anyone else?

Perhaps its a simple torque adjustment - not sure. I swear the folks in Detroit that do QC are watching their iPhones and not paying attention to detail. 2 Wagoneer's in one week and I'm still in a rental. NOT HAPPY! 🤬

Can confirm that mine is also like this which is annoying and shouldn't be this bad on this class of vehicle but it honestly won't bother me.

that is ALWAYS a problem on GWs!! to me the wagoner back end is the best of the 2, the front is the same, all that satin chrome doesn't line up or just doesn't look correct. the satin part on the lower headlamp area, sits flush on the grille, but has a nice rat hole gap along the headlamp. didn't like it when we built the show vehicles, and still don't like it. sorry guys my .2 cents. lets not start talking about the door handles....
