Grand Wagoneer - Adjustable Roof Crossbars?

I'm doing an option by option comparison between the Wagoneer and GW and noticed that for the GW it says that adjustable roof rail crossbars on not available for GW. Does this mean that the same crossbars from the Wagoneer can't be installed b/c the makeup of the roof rack is different, or they are simply not available, or does the GW have its own variation of the roof rack that already has built-in crossbars? Why would a SUV marketed as being able to haul around the whole family and all the family's stuff but not be able to be equipped from the factory to throw anything on the roof?

Just spoke with a local dealer’s ambassador about this issue. Super helpful guy in general but this question stumped him. Maybe I need to go to Jeep directly? I swear I’ve seen YouTube videos where reviewers are going through the trunk of the grand wagoneer and there are crossbars stowed away under the cargo area storage floor.

update: just saw the article about the obsidian grand wagoneer a being spotted and lo and behold it’s been seen with roof crossbars, so maybe it’s a built-in (hence non adjustable) feature like how some other FCA load bars are, such as the minivans.

Yes, that Obsidian model had them up.

I get it that they need to clear the shark fin antenna, but I agree it didn't have to be THAT high, they could have made it just skim over the top.

Other then the black center the bars on the Grand Wagoneer Obsidian and the Wagoneer in the pictures above look pretty identical. I wonder if it may be pre production version.

Maybe trying to keep stuff off the window up there?? That's the last thing you want is for one of those sunroofs to break. lol

I saw them in real life, inside the cubby in the trunk. They do look exactly like the photos and are a bit on the tall side.

Here are some closeups of the crossbars. Came in the padding that I've seen on crossbars that are fitted in the trunk and also with the Torx key to allow a bit of wiggle room on the width adjustments. You press down on the spring underneath the feet to rotate them out into position and they lock into place. Press back on the spring to rotate it closed again for storage, pretty nifty. One thing I'm worried about is that it came with no bolts to attach into the roof rails (see 3rd picture). Looks like it will need 8 total, 4 for each bar. Should I expect those to already be on the GW from the factory or do I need to call the dealer who shipped the crossbars?
