Aftermarket wish lists

Thought it’s be a good time to start drawing up what mods we’d like to see for aftermarket or on later model editions. After crawling around under it tonight, I realize I will be shelling out way more $$. 🤣🤣 There is a TON of space under her and even more in the engine compartment.

At some point will add an air hose in the back for airing up tires and using air tools. Will probably add a separate compressor and tank for it, but seeing the current one set up that runs the air suspension, it’s tempting to modify those (I won’t, at least not until my extended warranty expires). Might add air horns to it too (I know, for fun, not for on road because it’s illegal in many states.)

Would love Gobi to make a roof rack for it. Would definitely need the ladders (we had to use stepladders today to wash the top. 😱)

Would be nice to have some auxiliary buttons to assign different things to like in the JLU.

I know most people aren’t going to go full out mod on these like the Wranglers, but some custom stuff is always fun.

What would you guys like to see?

I’m kind of fighting the urge to have it tuned. There’s so much room under the hood Jeep is basically asking me to put a supercharger under there. I imagine that will void my warranty. Also toying around with the idea of some sort of aftermarket exhaust. Maybe I can get my fuel economy into the negative numbers!

This isn’t a mod per se but I did get my dash cam (front and rear) promptly installed.

Yeah, I came from a Trackhawk and Hellcat before that....so I understand lol.

With that said the 6.4 isn't very forced induction friendly, unfortunately. I'd just like a bit more growl to it at this point.

I have aftermarket wheels and window tint at this point, actually I think you inspired me to stop by the exhaust shop today lol

I'm fairly certain catch cans will work on our vehicle, not really a mod, but I had a grand Cherokee in 2014 with the 6.4 and had a can on it and it got a lot of oil. May order one and give it a whirl, only issue would be mounting points I'd imagine.

Where did you have your dashcams mounted? I'd love to get exterior cams front and rear like the JLU has, but dashcams so I can record it. I wish car manufacturers would make an easier setup for recording footage with the camera system they all come with so we don't have to buy aftermarket cams.

My first mods are new tires, tint, and ceramic coating. Dashcams are high on my list, gotta film everything with how bad drivers are these days. My goal is, god forbid I'm in an accident, I just email my insurance the video and they handle everything. Currently, have the latest 4k blackvue dashcam front and rear in my '21 Wrangler Rubi 392, works great but they are both mounted on the inside of their respective windshield/rear window.

edit: I didn't wire my dashcams into the car's battery. Instead, I bought (I forget the brand) a battery pack that sits under my passenger seat to power the cams while parked. It charges while I'm driving and usually gives me a few hours of footage while parked, which is perfect for 99% of the time.

I’ve got a BlendMount on the front which I’m a huge fan of and the back is just a little 3M adhesive strip from BlackVue. If you’ve never heard of a BlendMount, it’s a little mount that hooks to the rear view mirror that your dash cam pops into. I’ve historically always just stuck the front on the windshield like the back but found the BM a few years ago and couldn’t be happier with it.

I’m at the point where I barely feel comfortable driving without a dash cam with all the crazies out there in the world.

I'm thinking about adding a nitrous oxide holding tank, placing it under the hood, and then routing it into the gas mixture with a switch inside the steering wheel.
It's available when I need that power boost (0-60 in 3 seconds)—burning the pavement, tire tracks, Back To The Future.

Pictures please, and a guide to purchasing the materials and installing it.

Just remember not to leave any metatag data in the photos, no background images of location or people, use an old fashion camera, pre-digital, and, well, I think you get the drift. :ROFLMAO: I'm sure someone someplace in a gov't office will think they need to find your vehicle and impound it for being too great. Ultra Great?😁

It be my luck, the Navy will classify me as a UFO or some kind of new guided missile they weren't advised of...Impound his behind, and take my toy to test range. I'll never see Patty again..:ROFLMAO: I'll be in a holding cell with murders, drug dealers, car thieves, etc. They ask me - What crime did you do? Me- Littering! Leaving burnt rubber on the pavement. They all huddle together in the corner, laughing... Reminds me of the song Alice's Restaurant. You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant..

I know they changed the pistons in the 392 so you can’t do nitrous. Hm. Will have to see if they did same on the Wagoneer line. If not; I see a supercharger in my future.
