Why No Power Mirrors on Wagoneers II & III ????

Was very disappointed that my Wagoneer II did not have power folding mirrors! Never thought to look that they were not included in the base Wagoneers. Only for the Grand Wagoneer. Bad on me and bad on Jeep. I use the power mirror function everyday for the last 20 years! $75K and no power folding mirrors! What, to save a few bucks?! I feel like an idiot for not looking at the base build of the Wagoneer to make sure it included power folding mirrors. Will look at trading it in shortly for another brand that understands what customers expect after dropping $75K on a SUV.

In my opinion, there were too few features to make the Grand extra special so they put the folding mirrors in that class. However, that's a mistake in this price point altogether. The Grand should be luxury, not Essentials. I have a 2016 Kia Optima that has power folding mirrors (and by the way, the seat warmers stay on in it and never fail).

I missed the power mirror when purchasing feature as well. Big miss I used it all of the time in my Tahoe.

We missed that as well and that is a little disappointing. We traded a Denali in for the WSIII and every vehicle we have had over the past few years has had this feature, one my wife uses consistently. I guess she will have to learn to do without it, but disappointing at this price point for sure.

I can understand that as I, too, took it for granted and ASSumed that it was included in a vehicle at this price point. I hope we can make do without it, but that could prove to be an issue for us as well.

Am I reading this correctly? No power folding mirrors on ANY Wagoneer? Only on the Grand?
Yes, its only on the Grand because of some bean counter that has a double garage for one vehicle. Bad decision.... We has single garage doors and it fits with about 3 inches on each side but what a failure in design as well as the 360 camera. I can be at ease though with the "check back seat" indicator every time I shut it off. I always look to see if AOC or Biden have slithered in... We have no children that would not be noticed in the back, our son is 6'4" now and I dont know how we never left him locked in the car as a child, good thing we were responsible parents.

I'm shocked. As stupid as this sounds, no folding mirrors is a deal breaker for me. Before my Grand Cherokee, I seriously considered a SRT Durango but needed power folding mirrors.
My 2014 Kia Rio, commuter, had them....lol

A lot of car companies have been moving towards shoving more and more features into the higher end trim levels. I'm surprised the base model has power windows even!

Buy a Grand Wagoneer Series III, problem solved! (a car company executive is laughing maniacally somewhere I'm sure)

Super odd packaging for the first year, but I'd assume they'll update this in years to come. Even lower level cloth seat Ram trucks have power folding mirrors standard in most packages, so I think this first go round, Jeep went random with so many different trim levels to see what people noticed and didn't. Still early, so let's watch years to come.

I've been used to the feature too, had it on my 2000 LX470, and most cars since. My 2021 Acura TLX has power folding mirrors and walk away auto lock, so it's a mix of different details daily. Thankfully the mirrors haven't bothered me too much yet.

I'm super excited about the massage seats for long trips. That and wanting a bigger car are the only reasons I'm not in a new Grand Cherokee already. The autopilot stuff (if it ever gets enabled) is the other main feature not in the Cherokee that helped me pull the trigger.

When I first read this thread I was panicking that my on order GWS3 didn't have power foldinng mirrors, phew! That would have been a deal breaker.

Yes it is hard to believe no Power mirror in a 90K unit (W III). I cannot think of any car whatever price range not having power mirrors.
The GW comes with them, but also has an option for automatic power folding mirrors.
My dealer is looking into getting mine changed out. Will keep you posted.

Were you able to upgrade your mirrors to power folding?

Same with me on my Wagoneer S3 leased in January...rolled up to my single garage and couldn't believe it. When I'm asked on the street about the vehicle, it's the one thing that I tell people. Stupid, stupid, stupid. And who woud pay the $20K upcharge on the GW for what Jeep views as a luxury vehicle. Penny pinching idiots have cost good will and real dollars. They should've put the damn feature in an $83K vehicle of this size. And while they're at it - could they finally fix the entertainment system signal dropout and reboot? Otherwise - the vehicle is a beast, but c'mon Jeep - admit you were wrong!
